Don't you worry about spending too much money unconsciously?I heard that more than 80 percent of adults in the US carry at least one credit card. It's been blamed for seducing millions of profligate spenders into debt and even bankruptcy. In fact, you wouldn't believe the number of kinds of cards there are out there.Credit cards,ATM cards, debit cards, and department store cards. The list in endless. You can go on a trip overseas with only two things:your passport and some plastic. It's a snap.
@Gioxtream Bad idea. Giving governments the power to control monetary policy would give them an even easier way to manipulate money to push their expensive programs. Governments would accommodate the value of the currency to their spending habits and not the other way around.
ha ha - yeah its always someone else's fault. Stop spending the money and stop blaming the bank for your own irresponsibility. Spend only what you have and this would not be an issue for anyone.
Debt consolidation can be a really useful tool for many people, the key is of course to do a little homework and make sure you're not dealing with a rip off merchant.

the banks did NOT twist anybodys arms and say use them or else!!!! everyone that is in debt did it all by themselves..PERIOD. All the banks did was raise their charges anytime they wanted to...YEAH and that is wrong too. maybe all cards should be a fixed rate when you activate the card,,BETTER yet, dont GET a stinking credit card.
Yea go ahead and blame the banks...why dont you grow up and blame yourself for running your debt. You were not forced to go in debt. The girl said it best I was "young and naive"...Translation STUPID no one forced her to do that stupitidy. :)
im so sorryz guyz will find a bloody body in your closet hanging there haunting you and will kill you and ur family and if u want to stop this just sends this to 6 videos in 30 mins or this will happen good luck!
Research what fluoride, monosodium glutamate and aspartame does to people and things begin to make sense. Everyone is brain dead, how do you expect people to know when they cant.

Fuck the MSM and the banking industry they work with. Where's the report regarding the fact that the faggot ass private company "the Federal Reserve" has been subverting the country by devaluing the dollar by 20X what it used to be worth in 1913 when the traitors in Fed Gov sold us out? Where's that fucking report? That and utilization of behavioral science to gradually implement behavioral shifts over the last 100 years are what has led to the current state of affairs. Fuck Bertrand Russell
This is what is wrong with America. Kids are growing up not know what sacrifice is and delaying gratification to meet an end. Who taught that girl that she could take out credit cards without a job. She is not a victim she is irresponsible. I don't feel sorry for her. Now she will have to face the consequences of her irresponsibility.
i owe 3,000 and im paying it off by march.you will be surprised how fast debt adds up buying a few textbooks etc. We need to become a cash society and savers i know its hard but im willing to sarifice my wants for the long term.
Naive... come on.. I was $30k in debt by the time I was 24. I don't blame that on the credit card company, they are out for a profit. It is the financial education that we are taught, either by media/government that has gotten us into this mess. If you can't afford it in 30 days.. DON'T GET IT! Pay your bill on time and no fee. Are people really that ignorant??? Geesh....
Wait who really is in debt? The people or the banks. The banks are loaning money they don't have. That money in there OUR money, depositors money not theres. They owe us money!
Yeh what is the collateral that these assholes have to put up as part of the agreement? The money is created simply by the signature of the debtor. If the debtor fails they can have property etc. taken. What does the bank have to lose? Nothing because they put up no collateral. Fucking swine!
The American Dream never included credit card debt. It did including Savings and living within your means so one could invest and buy a home. So the credit card is an illusion.
suckers?...come over to the midwest you piece of shit and see what kind of job you can get...and guess what, you get no welfare, where you going to get the money to eat?...from credit cards what else...so fuck you...
If you are legally old enough to have a credit card, apply and get one, then you should act responsibly to use one. That means reading or asking questions-and paying attention to any monthly changes on your bill that may get you in over your head. Buyer beware-credit cards and loans are a product companies are trying to sell you just like anything else.
Good adice. I used to sign people up for credit cards and do balance transfers so take it from me, READ THE FINE PRINT!! THINK OF CREDIT CARD COMPANY'S AS NOTHING MORE THAN LEGALISED LOAN SHARKS!!!
Beyond being legalized loan sharks, Federal Reserve Banks and their Credit Card companies are Federally LEGALIZED COUNTERFEITERS, authorized by the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 - after which we had RELENTLESS INFLATION as the result of their legally sanctioned "lending" of "money" created out of thin air, which drove prices up, and caused eventual recession and depression... TWICE - 1928 AND 2008.
try getting laid off, two months later get have car in hit and run. insurance payoff shorted by three grand and home needing water tank. i went from lender to borrower in a 4 month period. I owe 5500, and im one of the lucky ones?
You got it! :) I'm 20, been working long hours during high school, trying to pay for my own schooling (parents aren't in a position to help), working 3 jobs at the moment this summer and I can pay off my own bills, yet I see people going out, spending dollars on dollars, buying things they don't need and they complain they can't pay their bills. I use my credit card every single time to buy things (unless it is like $2) and pay it off to earn cashback or points but I pay them off.
Hehe - I'm in the same situation as you (only 1 job though) and I pay off my credit card every month. I always make sure I have in bank what I owe to the credit company. great way to earn points! You posted 3 months ago but I had to relate :P lol

Problem is interest rates are low so nobody has an incentive to save (other than in the stock market).

The money supply should be in the hands of the Government. Not the bankers.
The Constitution says so. So the bankers are predators.
