the reason the tags on this are "krisna das" and "ram dass" have to do with the fact that this is my reaction to a story that was told to krishna das about ram dass' experience with a guru in India. the first time i heard it it made me cry. the second time too. ram dass was told to "meditate like jesus"... "how did jesus meditate?", he asked. the guru replied after a very long pause, as a single tear fell down his cheek: "he lost himself in love."
