Believed in this for years and years. Now I know it was a elborate hoax. I believe in Extraterrestial life, Interdimensional beings, Angels, Demons, and UFO's.
Have studied hundreds of cases over the last five years. This is all fake.
@Spitflip I found the 14min version on the side bar. And he is a liar. If passed all tests it only proves the pathology of his lying. He's probably related to Joe Smith, the number one Mormon liar. They're spirit brothers at minimum. I recorded a UFO in Utah, of all places, in 1987. Long before I had any knowledge of Mormonism. I posted it. A Saturn shaped object and some spheres connected together. One shot a beam of light above a cliff I camped under and I was not amused
@IExposeMormonism That's pretty wild.. I'm gonna check out that video if it's on your page. I just don't know why people would think Travis's case would be made up? :S Who would do that and lie about it (to their friends and family-for over 35 years-, also having to get six friends to agree on the same story) /he wasn't able to be found and then randomly showed up / they all took the tests so they'd all have to be pathological liars.. Idk, I've done a lot of research on certain cases thisbreal:(
@Spitflip All good points. I found the story plausible when I heard it. But when I found out TW was Mormon and all his friends are Mormon I Knew it was I lie. Being Mormon doesn't prove he's a liar but I've read so much on Mormon lies I know what certain Morgbots are capable of. TW is lying. I've found Mormon lies exceeding this lie. Murders and lies. The Book of Mormon and The Book of Abraham are lie. the polygamy revelation "Angel with a sword" demanding it lie. It's a Pathology
@TIEGUY17 Well, there's factual proof of extraterrestrials, talk from the same credible sources of inter-dimensional beings.. and then yeah, I kind of believe in Angles/Demons never seriously looked into it. I'm not Christian. I've practiced religion, but developed more of an ideology on life rather than continuing a specific belief. Perhaps why I believe this case strongly to be true is because I've only recently been researching it/so there's more recent videos and him being at important plces
@amazindan They took lie detector tests? More than twice. Phil Klass merely speculates his ideas, grow the fuck up and think.
Can you imagine how shitty it would be to be in Travis's situation? You dumb sons of bitches. All the FAKE claims have ACTUALLY been debunked
We have created (over 45 years ago) a clean energy force that is self-sustainable and could replace all fossil fuels involvement in our world, knowing this, think..you dumb, ignorant sons of bitches . Why don't you know? U know dick
@Spitflip Poor Travid did fail on TV with a test and regardless if he passes them all or not, he's a liar. thus a pathological liar. Just like his sky daddy Joe Smith. UFO's are real. Travis isn't.
@IExposeMormonism Shows called the moment of truth.. saw him answer 16 questions about his abduction until the last question; 'did u get abducted nov. 5 1975?' 'yes.' "Falllsee" Even though every question before was true? No. That doesnt happen. He shouldve just walked away
WATCH: "THE GREATEST STORY EVER DENIED"
You seem like you're interested in UFOs n all that cool whatnots ad tadbits in space. There's some cool stuff.
Watch Travis on 'The moment of Truth' too. You can find both on youtube
@Spitflip Listen dumbass this hoax was proven already and I dont want to sit here and explain to ur ignorant ass on how it was, go google it yourself "Travis Walton Hoax" Next thing your going to tell me is that the Billy Meier shit was real too? lol. I agree with IExposeMormonism UFO's are real! Travis isn't!!!
@rockingramon32 not funny, cuz u KNOW nothing..yet.. look into it maybe /wiki it even (EVERYONE) ppl r so stupid believing shit like Phillip Klass's book? it tries to 'debunk' Travis , then everyone says "oh Travis & his friends got so much fame/fortune"
..well look at Klass you stupid fucks? Making money by trying to debunk a genuine man's experience... Not To Mention, all you assholes who don't believe him are just pains to even have know your name? Who wants THIS type of attention? Seriously.
funny part about all this is how people tend to think their gov't, no matter the part of the worl you live in, has any control or validation pwoer over, well, anything. the concept is laughable.
i believe his story. someone very close to me went through something very similar when they were only 5 years old and i was 3, so we had never heard of this man's story. then when the fire in the sky movie came out we were watching it together and he freaked out screaming and crying. years later he was bent down to pick something up and a metal object fell out of his ear. he threw it away. he never talks about, doesn't want to. so good thing mister Walton is brave enough to speak out..
If you dont believe in aliens, look at acient ruins, they are everywhere, what was described as angels were alien. Look at mayan/egyptian structure, there is no way they had meens to move 200 ton stone
You know what really pisses me off, the fact that uploading something for ten days on the internet makes no fucking sense. Once it's on the net it#s out there forever
This story its the completely truth. Aliens exists. Thats a Fact. The problem is, the human race, wich is totaly compromised, close minded, and total and completely limited, one of the most famous limitations of the humans beings are the prejudiced- a judment previously made without any knowledgement,in the consequence for that is the stupidity, and this is something quite psicological that holds the humans, but because theres retrogrades in thw world, doesnt mean that they dont exist! They do!
these UFO abductees are almost as bad as these fucking psychics that claim they can communicate with the dead...they LIE right to peoples faces..and they are stupid fucking idiots that obviously LIE but they CON people that are easily tricked
@human0un yeah, in my opinion, a lot of people have jumped on the bandwagon because they want attention or they have other problems so I would be hesitant to believe a lof of the abductees or contactees. Having said that, tho, that doesn't mean all of the close encounter cases or abduction cases are false. I believe the Walton case, as well as some others, really happened. What's most impressive is that all of them passed the lie detector test except for one guy who had legal issues.
@wj5mjk you think after 36 years the truth would have surfaced of a hoax, the fact is nothing has..
those other loggers got sick and tired with reporters and the authorities back in those days after it happened when they were possible suspects of Travis's murder ,and even after they took the polygraph tests which they all passed.
not a question of these guys hiding in guilt, more so of them hiding from the nonsense involved with an event where only half of the community believe your story.
had that really happened,I would have expected Travis to have NO memory immediately preceding and following the event (when he allegedly woke up inside the craft),considering the 'fact' that he had been shocked.
In any event,I don't beleive him, period.People can and DO lie for various reasons, even seemingly honest ppl,and lying in itself is usually not a crime.the crew had plenty of reason to lie back then..they were behind on the logging contract.
@wj5mjk You don't have any reason to believe it or disbelieve it, You weren't there you weren't part of their day to day lives logging or lived in that town. Sorry you think everyone is out lie and make a quick buck. Thankfully not everyone is stuck in that way of thinking.
The least you can do is listen and not judge, or not watch it at all. Seems pretty simple right?
@SirVaughnElric I've seen that one.And I've seen him talk before.Being familiar with true crime,I know what to look for and all I can say is that right off the bat,he's given off several major red flags and indications that's he's not telling the truth. Not believing in aliens and ufo's has nothng to do with it,because even if I did,I would still know from all the indicators he's given off, that's he's not being truthful about the matter.
@wj5mjk Something happens to the man and you accuse him of criminally justifying it. You weren't there you couldn't know. Doesn't matter how much you think you can tell the difference in lies your always going to make mistakes. The best you can do is just let it be, but no you'd rather call the man a liar to satisfy your own view of the matter..He's not a huge famous figure that made a fortune, so no reason for him and 6 others to stick to a story for 30yrs when it hurt them more then helped.
what a fucking LIAR...hes just lying his ass off..everypart of this story is PREDICATABLE nothing interesting or surprising just bullshit out of a 1950s comic book
After looking at all the evidence by the so "call" aliens i don't see nothing real about them. If any i think the Aliens are nothing more then demons, and fallen angels.
I believe that Walton believes he was abducted, and so does the crew workers.. He is NO liar, and I actually do believe he really was abducted by gray like aliens, and a human looking race of aliens,
This is really an actual event. . I really believe in alien abduction is going on. Covertly and the military does in some way know what’s going on. Not all though. But there are top players that have knowledge of the rim of our world. This has nothing to do with religions. It’s just a fact.
And what should we do with this fact? Present them to those in charge. Let them know we are not pleased with this secret agenda. Demand of our leaders to know the truth. Thanks!
This scout ship shot Travis and probably wounded him. Therefore, they would have had to contact their headquarters for instructions and obviously were told to retrieve him and treat him.
HOW CAN PEOPLE EVENING THINK HE'S LIE WHERE WOULD BE MISSING FOR 5 DAYS, WHY WOULD HE EVENING LIE ABOUT THIS. I HOPE THE ALIEN ABDUCT THAT DISLIKE IDIOT, SMH
This case is one of the greatest that there ever was. Firstly, it happened 1975, where was no internet or google that people can do a research and make a vivid story. There weren't much Ufos stories and shit. There were 6 eyewitnesses who took polygraph. And this wasn't a joke back then, friends were accused of murderer which i think is a serious business. Its been a long time and yet he sticks to his story. Why would he tell things that noone believe him with ships, stars, light beams and shit.
@IspanasOnTop If you think the Travis Walton case is something you should look at the Dr.Johnathan Reed case. He has 100% proof! Not only does he have evidence he has video of what happened. Check it out you won't be disappointed. WARNING VERY EERIE!!!
@gforce4all look up this guy on the tv show Moment of Truth, they ask him explicitely if he was abducted by a ufo, and he says yes, and it was deduced he was being deceptive. IT DIDNTT HAPPEND
@awesomoh4000 Why do you think lie detectors are not used in court cases? Because they are not acurate.I have personally talked with travis myself and I am 100% convinced that his story is true.
This is a true horror story and not made up at all. But I gotta believe that not all aliens are bad, and would do cruel lab experiments. But there is good and evil everywhere and people that don't believe in this story are a bunch of closed minded idiots. Passing the lie detector test and they still don't believe in it?.
This guy is a liar. You need to check out facts of early .
debunker.com/texts/walton.html has a lot of information regarding early investigation. Interesting to note: the walton brothers claim to have seen UFOs many times before this incident. The family was very into UFOs.
I saw Travis on Moment of Truth as well and felt horrible when the polygraph machine claimed that he was being deceptive--especially in front of Michael Shermer. However keep in mind that The consensus among scientists is that a polygraph examination is not a valid means of ascertaining whether or not an individual is being truthful or deceptive . . . it is estimated that the exam is only accurate about 61% of the time . . .
@risingbull84 But keep in mind that all of his coworkers passed the lie detector test, so if you're basing your faith on the lie detector the results of 6 people override the result of 1.
@Castaril You have to know the questions that were asked. Travis was actually dictating the questions that he would be asked AND he actually failed the very first lie detector test he took. The movie about this twists the truth and makes this look real, but way too many suspicious things don't add up. Go to .debunker.com/texts/walton.html
easy to wipe out most ufo sightings as rubbish even though there is no evidence to say most of them are rubbish.. this one however with 7 witnesses is on another level again.. i believe Travis he has never changed his story and neither has his fellow workers.
He's so far the most convincing ''abductee'' i've ever heard and i'm an Iron skeptic, so i'm not saying i'm believing him i'm just saying he's convincing.
Although I think most UFO alien abductees are telling the truth, I do not think Walton is. He does not come across at all like other abductees. He could be recounting a road accident, not something otherwordly, highly strange, fundamentally unfathomable. Also, the experience itself, while superficially like other abductee experences, is not at all like them in detail - and it is this detail, familiar to serious UFO researchers, that is the hallmark of the authentic case.
There were 2 independant witnesses. A couple were out hunting and from a nearby ridge they saw the UFO and they saw it zap Travis. They reported it to the authorities and were told to keep quiet about it unless the crew were convicted of murder. But Travis came back...
I have been getting into "Bigfoot" for some reason. My common sense it seems like BS these big feet and the sightings. For some reason I want to beleive its real for some reason. People are very clever at making up stories to make themselves go from a nobody to a somebody. However watch the Clynn Josephson video and now this story and I don't see a liar before me.
Read Chapter 3 of "UFO Abductions: A Dangerous Game" (1989) by Phillip Klass. Mr. Klass, a famous debunker, casts heavy shadow on Travis' story. According to Klass, there WAS a lie detector test that Travis took shortly after the incident. The test was given in a Scottsdale hotel by Jack McCarthy, one of the most respected lie-detector men in Arizona at the time. His conclusion? "Gross deception!" Other info in this chapter casts lots of doubt on Travis' story. I'm just sayin'.
I worked in Snowflake and the woman I worked with grew up there and knows Travis and his wife. She said that Travis was never one to seek out publicity and that she believes this really DID happen to Travis. The people in town DON'T hate him and my daughter dated his nephew for a while. I, too, believe Travis's story.
whats with the lie at 8:30," umm umm they got out and built a fire, ok so they actually didnt build a fire umm umm"...???? sounds like someones pulling a swifty.
As one American true American to all you others this was a true event that happened. We the people have been betrayed by our own government if you can call it that. We have a continuos relationship with aliens from other planets and we continue to have these relations with aliens.
I met Travis Walton in person and had a private talk with him in 1993. He seem credible but the driver Mike was really credible. He told me his side of the story. Was he convincing? Yes, very convincing. He told me the UFO was the most perfect, beautiful thing he had ever seen.....he said it was just as exciting as seeing a brand new shiny Chevy Corvette in your driveway.
whether this is true or not, alot of people cant understand, or accept the truth, thats whay we as a civilazation is so naive, they let just the things they see control there way of life, for example these images of war the government wants us 2 live by so we are a vioent civilization so population goes down and we are easily controlled, people need 2 stretch there mind frame...
Walton was at a LAPIS conference I attended some years back. Tho' I was prepared to give credence to his account (most abductees come across as genuine) I was a little uneasy about him. After half a lifetime in ufology you begin to get an intuitive feel about these things. There is no spark of awe. Nothing has touched his deep centre. I did not know until later that he had failed the first polygraph test. Of course he passed the second, so one has to reserve judgement.
he answers questions about his abduction all the way to the end of the show. then the show asks him if he as been ubducted. i dont know but 2 plus 2 dont equal 4
this guy went to the show "the moment of truth" and when they asked him if he was abducted in 1975 he said yes, but the lie detector proved it was a lie. I believed him, but now i think I don't...
I have not watch the show I will take a look. However understand the person who wrote the book on the techniques of polygraphing was hired by a famous skeptic name Black who polygraphed Walton two of his friends. Their rating was 97% telling the truth. If Walton was lying why would he go on the show. This guy had enough experience with good and bad test.. I don't know the shows ethics. I no for a fact some shows( Mystery Quest) bullshit. I will look into it though.
@Mikod2...But its kinda hard for 7 people to stick with their story many years after the incident. someones's story would have faltered over time. But it has not...
@Mikod2 yea all the other questions were detected as true, right when it came to the hundred thousand dollar question it mysteriously was detected as a lie, how convenient, never trust shows like that, they can make up anything they want, especially if money is involved
@Mikod2 all you gotta do is WIKIPEDIA the fuckin thing and it says right there, that he took several tests and passed the following 2. yea man. yea dude
@Mikod2 also the on the question " Do you have strong evidences that you had been abducted by extraterrestrials" by the Skeptic Guy who came in the show and the answer was YES! So WHAT is Logic? HOW is it possible the Polygraph to say TRUTH he has evidences and NOT Truth when he was abducted on Non 5, 1975? As Travis said "POLYGRAPHS are 97% accurate" and A SLIGHT feeling of pain, grief, any emotion in the body has lead the POLYGRAPH choose the WRONG answer! WHY would 6 people make this story???
@Mikod2 also, Lie detector tests are completely unscientific and i'm not saying that just so it's convenient for Travis his story i'm saying it because it's simply not a scientific way to establish the truth.
@Mikod2 all lie detectors really do is tell when there is a change like when you get nervous, when you get nervous on a lie detector you can say the truth but it will detect it as a lie, and if you are not nervous and tell a lie it will read it as the truth so they are not reliable at all...I dont know if this guy is telling the truth or not but that is how lie detectors work.
@Mikod2 I don't think he's knows conclusively exactly what actually happened to him when he was rendered unconscious - you may notice that previous tests proved he was telling the truth but the details of abduction experience were somewhat inconclusive. I've seen a similar ship to the one he speaks of - it looks like a slightly flattened ball and it glows orange(usually) when its plasma shielding system is active.
@SuperiorMind I also notice that his description of "floors" curving into "walls" and outlines of doors is consistent with something another person would descibe - although the source of lighting was at times not apparent. Also the description of the surround-stereoscopic navigation display was way ahead of his time -- we still do not have such technology to my knowledge.
@Mikod2 don't believe a show that has no credability with contestants in the heat of the moment you would be surprised how many fall short when they are telling the truth..
the show is not what it appears to be it really isn't.
@Mikod2 I've seen that show, and it was rigged to make him look bad by the hosts, everything from bringing out a debunker to trash talk Travis, and try to make him look bad.
I've spoken to Travis, and he's just a normal nice man who's down to earth (pun intended) and who to me seems like an honest man who is not lying about his experience.
Travis is an honest dude, and his story is an amazing one so naturally there is going to be haters, and debunkers. But he's telling the truth. IMO
@Mikod2 There is a reason why lie detector tests aren't admissible in court. Now, I don't know if this guy is lying or telling the truth, but a lie detector test is not something I'd put all my faith in. What bothers me with this story is the six guys who were with him. Why the hell would they stick by the same story for all this time? I don't know if the guy was really abducted, but if I had to bet on it, I'm gonna say they saw something very unusual.
@Cappufo also if these men planned to lie like this wouldn't they have gone straight to the military to make their story even more credible? Then people say they were on acid. Take a hit of acid then try to drive a truck. Guarantee you'll be hugging a tree.....lol
This was a suspected murder case. Walton was mission for 5 days. The police took over. There is absolutely no proof they were on acid. The person who stated that claimed his uncle was the sheriff. He was not the sheriff nor was he ever the sheriff. A FOIA classified document showed the military had real problems with UFOs around that area. I work on the RR for a time try and cut down trees with a chain saw on acid.
@TheDartania yeah i agree theres a 100% chance that youll be wrapping your truck around a tree. Then thats when nature says "Thats for cutting us to shreds you fucker"
Many are saying Travis Walton is a liar and that all the men were drug addicts even one of them being arrested for drugs one month after Walton claimed to be abducted. If this man were lying #1.He would not wait ten years to write a book #2.This wasnt made into a movie until 1993. People say the towns people hate Travis Walton and call him a liar but wouldn't a liar leave the state? He is tellling the truth.
"The person who claimed this was supposed to be the Nephew of the county sheriff. It should be somewhat troubling that Sank Flake was never the "county sheriff," a rather large error for his supposed nephew to make. Yea he said all these people hated him. But others who commented and live there claim otherwise. My blog point out what an idiot this person is
"Sheriff’s nephew claims Travis Walton Hoax well known?" please read it at UFO Media Matters
@Cappufo they are just trying to debunk him because govt want to keep it a secret and does not want this known so the govt try to make ppl sound and look psychotic so ppl will not believe
@TheDartania i dont think hes lieing becuas my grama waz like on the other side of town and she said that se saw something brite and suddenly it dissapeard and ya
@TheDartania drug addicts? if the government didn't want people knowing the truth, they could easily change some records, and arrest you for drug charges. nobody knows you, your family would even be a little skeptic. thinking you were hiding something.
@Markisagoodboy He wrote a book ten years later about his ordeal. He was fed up with the circus. His family blamed his friends for leaving him there. Travis felt different. Eventually a movie was made called" Fire In the Sky" but what happened on the ship was nothing like the truth. Travis had problem when he was young with breaking the law he changed even before this but his life after this shows a man who was humbled and knew the profound experience he had..
I also wanna say, that it would be less irritating if you perhaps change the title to something like: 'Travis Walton a brief look at his encounter in his own words" versus Travis Walton The Truth part 1 of 6.
am answering all the nonsense about polygraph test. The definitive polygraph test for Travis Walton and three of his friends was done through a skeptic named Jerry Black. He employed the most highly regarded polographer around Cy Wilson. Cy took test on all three of these men they all passed in a 95 to 97 percent range. Cy Wilson's niece wrote me and she said after the test Cy had to rethink the idea that we were alone in the Universe. Don't believe NOVA they have an agenda.
@Cappufo I was a believer of this incident until I read a post from a supposed relative of the sherif from the incident that said that there were military aircraft constantly in the area and the lie detector test questions were vague about seeing a light and the main thing I heard was that Travis Walton was getting high at Dallas house the time he was missing.
@workman24 That doesn't make sense. Yes it is true they asked when they were polygraph( the friends of Travis) they asked the cops to stay on topic, They didn't want a fishing expedition. Some of them had trouble with the police in the past. The families would not even talk to each other because Travis's wife was angry they left him there. They didn't talk for years. There is no proof that Travis was over his Dallas house but believing that was easier than believing he was abducted.
i wuold have thought it was all bs except that in mich.in dec of 89 i saw something similar and it scared the living sh#@%t out me and i moved south i got to my house in mich packed a small duffel bag and caught a bus south and have never been back

i believe his story. someone very close to me went through something very similar when they were only 5 years old and i was 3, so we had never heard of this man's story. then when the fire in the sky movie came out we were watching it together and he freaked out screaming and crying. years later he was bent down to pick something up and a metal object fell out of his ear. he threw it away. he never talks about, doesn't want to. so good thing mister Walton is brave enough to speak out..

What's most impressive is that all of them passed the lie detector test except for one guy who had legal issues.

after Ttravis went 'missing' for 5 days, does anyone really think any of those guys would have admitted they lied?
wj5mjk 8 months ago
@wj5mjk you think after 36 years the truth would have surfaced of a hoax, the fact is nothing has..
those other loggers got sick and tired with reporters and the authorities back in those days after it happened when they were possible suspects of Travis's murder ,and even after they took the polygraph tests which they all passed.
not a question of these guys hiding in guilt, more so of them hiding from the nonsense involved with an event where only half of the community believe your story.
QuickEvolution 8 months ago
had that really happened,I would have expected Travis to have NO memory immediately preceding and following the event (when he allegedly woke up inside the craft),considering the 'fact' that he had been shocked.
In any event,I don't beleive him, period.People can and DO lie for various reasons, even seemingly honest ppl,and lying in itself is usually not a crime.the crew had plenty of reason to lie back then..they were behind on the logging contract.
wj5mjk 8 months ago
@wj5mjk You don't have any reason to believe it or disbelieve it, You weren't there you weren't part of their day to day lives logging or lived in that town. Sorry you think everyone is out lie and make a quick buck. Thankfully not everyone is stuck in that way of thinking.
The least you can do is listen and not judge, or not watch it at all. Seems pretty simple right?
SirVaughnElric 6 months ago
@SirVaughnElric I've seen that one.And I've seen him talk before.Being familiar with true crime,I know what to look for and all I can say is that right off the bat,he's given off several major red flags and indications that's he's not telling the truth. Not believing in aliens and ufo's has nothng to do with it,because even if I did,I would still know from all the indicators he's given off, that's he's not being truthful about the matter.
wj5mjk 6 months ago
@wj5mjk Something happens to the man and you accuse him of criminally justifying it. You weren't there you couldn't know. Doesn't matter how much you think you can tell the difference in lies your always going to make mistakes. The best you can do is just let it be, but no you'd rather call the man a liar to satisfy your own view of the matter..He's not a huge famous figure that made a fortune, so no reason for him and 6 others to stick to a story for 30yrs when it hurt them more then helped.
SirVaughnElric 6 months ago
@wj5mjk Your calling the man a liar when hes just sharing an experience he had with 6 other people. How dense are you.

Thanks!

I saw Travis on Moment of Truth as well and felt horrible when the polygraph machine claimed that he was being deceptive--especially in front of Michael Shermer. However keep in mind that The consensus among scientists is that a polygraph examination is not a valid means of ascertaining whether or not an individual is being truthful or deceptive . . . it is estimated that the exam is only accurate about 61% of the time . . .

Of course he passed the second, so one has to reserve judgement.

lee3nfi3ld460 1 year ago
@Mikod2 I don't think he's knows conclusively exactly what actually happened to him when he was rendered unconscious - you may notice that previous tests proved he was telling the truth but the details of abduction experience were somewhat inconclusive. I've seen a similar ship to the one he speaks of - it looks like a slightly flattened ball and it glows orange(usually) when its plasma shielding system is active.
SuperiorMind 1 year ago
@SuperiorMind I also notice that his description of "floors" curving into "walls" and outlines of doors is consistent with something another person would descibe - although the source of lighting was at times not apparent. Also the description of the surround-stereoscopic navigation display was way ahead of his time -- we still do not have such technology to my knowledge.

IMO
ThaJackaLsHead 10 months ago
@Mikod2 There is a reason why lie detector tests aren't admissible in court. Now, I don't know if this guy is lying or telling the truth, but a lie detector test is not something I'd put all my faith in. What bothers me with this story is the six guys who were with him. Why the hell would they stick by the same story for all this time? I don't know if the guy was really abducted, but if I had to bet on it, I'm gonna say they saw something very unusual.

am answering all the nonsense about polygraph test.
