everybody talks smack about the vette....but the truth is that the transmission on that gtr is gonna give up way faster than the vette......nissan transmissions sucks....i give them 4 moths before you have to change it....thats how long mine took.....my vette i had it for 3 years 55k miles on it already and no problems.....

@vedgardo thats a rare case of transmission problem. Ive had my 350Z since 2006 with 47k miles and its still running strong. ive never had any problems with it. My brother and his girlfriend both drive G35s coupe and they love their car to death. theyre not complaining about transmission problems. my mexican buddy dumped his 97' camaro ss for a new civic SI after spending almost 3grand trying to fix. that shit was falling apart on him. he aint going back to american and niether will i ever.

Making 505 hp STOCK on natural aspiration, not to mention it out performs the GTR in almost every way stock for stock. Guys who are turbocharging their Z06 vettes are seeing numbers well over 1,000 rear wheel horsepower with only 15 psi. I'd love to see the GTR throw down numbers like that.
@DanSVT03 the GTR is a legendary car in its own right. It puts up insane numbers without the use of a V8 engine. It competes with some of the worlds most powerful cars like farraris and porches. What american car with a V6 engine can do that?

I can guarantee Toyota, BMW, Mercedes, anybody could NOT make a NA pushrod engine with 100hp/cyl while still passing emissions. I cant stand people who do not understand different engine design and simply look at HP/L and judge. Just for reference, the LS7 in the Z06 weighs a mere 6lbs more that the 4.0L V8 in the M3, despite having 3L adv, 85 more hp, and 180ft/lbs more torque.

@vedgardo thats a rare case of transmission problem. Ive had my 350Z since 2006 with 47k miles and its still running strong. ive never had any problems with it. My brother and his girlfriend both drive G35s coupe and they love their car to death. theyre not complaining about transmission problems. my mexican buddy dumped his 97' camaro ss for a new civic SI after spending almost 3grand trying to fix. that shit was falling apart on him. he aint going back to american and niether will i ever.

Making 505 hp STOCK on natural aspiration, not to mention it out performs the GTR in almost every way stock for stock. I can guarantee Toyota, BMW, Mercedes, anybody could NOT make a NA pushrod engine with 100hp/cyl while still passing emissions. I cant stand people who do not understand different engine design and simply look at HP/L and judge. Just for reference, the LS7 in the Z06 weighs a mere 6lbs more that the 4.0L V8 in the M3, despite having 3L adv, 85 more hp, and 180ft/lbs more torque.
