I'm far from being a mao fan but all this rhetoric sound nice on paper and on a computer screen but our red commie friend resumed political life so well:Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun.After 2 war britain was not anymore the super power just like France and Germany destroyed each other for centuries, 10 wars in 200 years while the u.s had one on it's soil. The human history is written in blood not in gold as economist would like us to believe , money is a religion paper or gold.

professor ia talking in circles.USD$ cant be reserve currency anymore bcoz it is in deficit, started with Vietnam war. Kissinger asked Saudi in2 accepting "paper" USD$ for its oil--Nations needing oil had to stock up USD$. Hence USD kept in demand & artificially so. Had Saudi asked 4 GOLD, Saudi would have amassed many times the world's physical gold. Iraq asked 4 EURO--USD was threatened by this WMD unleashed by Saddam. Now Iran follow suit. WW 1 &2 was also about Mid east OIL
