I have been to America countless times since I first went there 15 years ago and I am always very moved at how patriotic they are. I have found them to be incredibly friendly and genuinely interested in foreign visitors and I always leave America wanting more. They literally are the United States, it's a shame we don't follow suit in the United Kingdom. We used to be patriotic now all we do is apologise for being British.
