I love the character of Walter! He's so eccentric and full of life. Wouldn't it be awesome to have a grandfather like Walter? I think it would!

John Noble makes the series so much so that I and my friends are beginning to refer to Fringe as The Uncle Walt Show.
Lovely voice, nuanced acting, very powerful, best I've seen in a very long time.

John nobles voice and character makes me watch it. lol i love it very shakespearean ..he was very good in lord of the rings.

Not coincidentally, he has done a lot of Shakespeare. I believe one of his more acclaimed performances was as Prospero in "The Tempest."
