@devintravis0121 The raptor 250's are nice little machines, loads of power for that power plant but they are pretty small, not much bigger dimension wise than a average 90 cc machine. If you are larger than an average 12 or 13 year old you will not be comfortable riding on it. They are designed for a rider who is about 4 1/2 to 5 1/2 feet tall and no more than about 150 pounds. Ohh, and by the way reverse is overrated.

@devintravis0121 Sorry, i am not from Michigan nor have i ever been there. What type of riding do you do? Mud, snow, dirt, sand, where you ride primarily will determine greatly the type of machine you should get. If you ride mostly in mud and snow I would recommend a 4x4 atv, The Yamaha wolverine 450 is a very nice sporty machine that is 4x4.

@devintravis0121 The 250ex is a turd! I can say that from experience. they are reliable but severely lack power. If you want a good size that you can be comfortable with and can grow with your abilities I would suggest a 400 class machine. The 400ex, ltz400, dvx 400 or klx400 are all good machines in fact the dvx klx and the ltz use the same drive-train. Dont waste your money on a 250 class machine, it sounds like you have already out groan them anyways.

@devintravis0121 "trx" is the prefix given to all honda sport atv's. The new trx 250x is the same as the previous trx250 ex models that date back as far as 2003. Honda has only made minor changes to that platform since its introduction, mostly aesthetic with the exception of adding the sports clutch in 2006. on paper the only difference is the new model seems to have lost the "e". Im not saying it is a bad machine, but you will out grow it quickly.

@devintravis0121 is your trailblazer still stock? if so you may just want to put some work into it instead of buying a new machine. A K@N filter, performance exhaust and re jetting will greatly increase the power of that trailblazer. Also you should be running 92 octane ethanol free fuel, that will make it run better also. Your trailblazer will smoke a "trx" 250x or ex or what ever you want to call it. Polaris is notorious for tuning down their machines out of the factory.

I had a bone stock 88 250 R/ES with a blown oil injector & still it could blow away a 300ex & keep up with a 400ex. it used to overheat & shut down & id pull the piston loose & let it cool, finally one day I just got p*ssed off & walked away without pulling piston back into the bottom end & that was the end of it. sold it & regretted it ever since =p
