Jane Monheit is talented and beautiful...truly a class act. I've noticed some unflattering comments here and just wanted to say that, although there is nothing wrong with a few well placed curves, Ms. Monheit was pregnant with her son when this was filmed. He was born the following May.
@lalala13nhc I mean no disrespect to women who are thinner..i completely agree that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes..I was just commenting on the other comments about her being a chubster..or too zaftig..I think she looks stunning..and would no matter what size she was..

@Sugarbehr1967 I attended a modeling school in San Francisco (before there were 'plus-sized' models), and they told us that the thin models are supposed to be like "clothes hangers," in other words, hopefully any style of clothing can be slid onto their frames, and even less material can be used, thus saving money, because they are so thin. Many people are not built that way (tall and thin is one of three basic body types)--now, there are 'petite 'and 'plus' -sizes and models.
I don't find her weight offensive. And I don't really think her weight should be the focal point of who she is - it's her voice that truthfully matters. I saw her live in NYC over the summer and her voice is spectacular live. She just kept me captivated and enthralled!
Ya'll crazy, she ain't even that big. I mean, she's heavy-set but she's not fat or obease or anything. And she's beautiful to boot... with a great set of pipes to go along. :D

Fuzzy and blurry doesn't hide the chubby fat of Ms. Lusciousness Monheit... usually the diffusion hides some imperfection of the camera target, but Ms. Luscious has no flaws, I LVOE Jane...
@angeltinkfly I had to look up "Coupling" on imdb dot com ... it is a UK TV show... I am watching a full episode of it right now... it has more-or-less the same format as "Friends" on American TV. It's a funny show. I enjoy how the show is able to get away with a more risque script. Thanks Angeltinkfly. In this episode, Susan is ready to have her baby. The group is watching Patrick's old sex tape.
