  • Awesome demo Adam!

  • Wtf, I get your application for Android & when I click on your material it says that you have not made your content usable on mobile

  • Adma you never got lessons from Glover or Hart? Anyway looks good bro!

  • @nofd1977 yes I did train with Jesse n Ed for 2 months , I was very lucky to have met them, they have change everything I do n think about self defence

  • this guy is amazing

  • if this isnt jeet kune do then what is that at 205, is this just improvised jkd, still kool though man

  • you do show some great stuff just use some simply fighting skills and its very effective just need to know how you use it and you wont get harmed that easy.

  • you are really fast but get a tougher guy he is noob or train him. he has even no basic stance.

  • @lovingmontasoccer I happened to be the noob without the 'basic stance', this is NOT sparring

  • @renegadefunkman yes i see he does show the excercise what you gotta do but you are not fast like him and he need someone who can show resistance his reaction is weak. and your welcome.

  • :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD is this guy serious? :DD

  • the guys who are asking about jeet kune do. jeet kune do its just a name. its the phylosophy of taking out an oponent as fast and effective as possible.

  • @Raz0rking yes but there are still some techniques as well as the concept wich in the more main paart of jkd as you said

  • Jeet Kune Do is still around?

  • @TehAlain

    uhm..yes

  • @TehAlain if you want to see jeet kune do go watch ufc. you will see a bunch of it there.

  • @HermesDo that is a false statement. each fight is MMA but they are trained in one specific way. you cant use JKD in UFC.....JKD has no rules.

  • @garay7826 people there train to use whats usefull and dont train things that are not usefull.

they dont have a certain style but many of them.

can you say they are not jeet kune do practisioners?

i think bruce lee wouldnt want us to name things just because of a certain training or because of certain technique usage.

  • @HermesDo the names where there before Bruce Lee came around. the martial art was there before Bruce Lee came around. What Bruce did was make it simple.

  • @HermesDo When Bruce had his interview and said he doesnt believe in styles anymore meaning Chinese way Japanese way or American way or w/e. he never said i dont believe in wing chung or boxing or w/e. like you said he used from a style what was use full and discarded what was useless. Bruce Lee is an American.

  • @garay7826 screw the interview. i am talking about his book.

  • @HermesDo why screw it. those are his words on film. do you have a quote or page in Toa Of Jeet Kune Do were you say Bruce explains your statement.

  • @garay7826 in his book bruce lee talks about techniques. not styles. thats my statement.

  • @garay7826 i just hate how all *jeet kune do* people try to clearify jeet kune do as a certain style learning some footwork, takedowns, wing chun, basic boxing and kicks.

  • Comment removed

  • @HermesDo no disrespect. i just saw your videos. thats why i dont record myself when i train and put it up on youtube and have people see your way of fighting. but you did and are open to comments. you make false statements on JKD. then you put on a belt and gi. why do you put that stuff on and why is your belt a different color than other people in the video. dont tell me your belt is a way to describe a graduate of a field where a practitioner's level is often marked by the color of belt.

  • @garay7826 yes my statement from his book is that he talks about techniques and not styles.

  • i dont know if jeet kune do is teaching side kicks and imitating bruce lees wing chun and footwork or just expressing yourself using no certain style.

  • Respond to this video...we mostly keep our kicks below the waste. we do wing chung drills and footwork is very important.

  • @HermesDo Yes quite a conundrum!

  • Nice clip. Keep up the good training.

  • yep you look just like bruce lee did

  • short man's complex for real

  • do you recommend chambering at the hip or the chest when conditioning?

  • @bowerybaker

If it were me i would avoid chabering at the hip or at all for that matter, for one it would just take that much more time for you to hit your target, than if you kept it up, besides if your hands are at your sides your face is wide open, next to that how you condition or how you train is how your body will usually react in a real fight...

  • this is good stuff sifu chan

  • Pretty fast but also very poorly executed.. trapping not efficient, telegraphed movement..

  • @Tangkapan you pretty much missed the point of the video

  • pls enlighten me

  • @Tangkapan 1. telegraphed movement because it's a demo, not a real fight, it's also a way to communicate with the 'stunt' guy. 2. He uses trapping to demo how it could be used as something other than a sparring tool. 3. He even says if you read 4 comments down that it's just a demo thing "a little slow/indirect...." etc.

  • Well his bodymechanics tell a different story.. And pls. if someone uses JKD , even in a demo, you never telegraph !! Trapping is a way of training not to fight since you never look for it..

  • have you considered to replace the big punch (1st 10 sec. on the video) with the lead punch / push shuffle? would fit your structure (well at least looks like).

  • Hi, that punch is not really the big punch. you seem to know about NCGF, if you want , you can private message me. My clips are for utube /demo purposes , the stuff shown is a little too slow/ indirect for real fighting; it is generally not the stuff I practice .

  • @adamchan1

So you're basically saying that what you demoed in these videos isn't how you'd train someone or train yourself to fight in a real street fight?

  • @adamchan1 nope but it's a bit in between a straight and a big ;-) training myself nckf, awesome stuff, most direct and efficient "system" I ever came across! Wish I would hav your speed tough, hav 2 work harder I guess... ;-)

  • What kind of training made you so explosive with your movements? Weights? Also, do you find lots of repetitions of techniques improves speed?

  • Hi for me , rather repetition is beneficial or not depends on the proper awareness , and therefore control of my body in motion. This can have alot to do with ones emotions and how they look at "fighting" .

  • and what's the reason u don't call it jkd? cause that's what it looks like

  • Like millions I was inspire by Bruce and I also did some WC . However, I never had 1 JKD lesson before. The world of Martial arts is full of people who claim things without formal training; I have no interest in being one of these - I would never disrepect Bruce like that

  • @adamchan1 what u r doing is jkd...we all kno jkd isnt a style, its fighting, just like wat u r portrayin...anyways i've much respect 4 u n keep doing wat ur doing

  • Comment removed

  • damn, you're amazing!

  • donthinktoohard...

I hope your not serious lol

  • pretty terrible efficiency if u ask me he wouldnt last a day expressing himself with that style

  • you speak my mind

  • The speed is good. Striking fast is more efficient than anything els, but ther are better places to hit.

  • Can you be a little more specific on the better places to hit. The video clearly shows all the vital targets, eyes, groin and neck, control of the spine, control of the guy's balance etc.

  • wta style of martail arts is dis

  • i think wing chun.

I have do it for 2 years and i saw same moves between. sry for my english.

  • Adam, I was just curious, do you use your "strong side" forward or do you use an athoradox stance... power hand to the back,.

  • given a choice , prefer power hand forward . However, alot of time there's no choice - ie multiple attackers. Better to develop at least a functional amount on your "weak" side...

  • do you teach iron fist and iron palm technique?

  • dudei garentee that he could wreck most of us with just speed dude ur fucking godly rofl

  • does Tommy Crruthers teach in Vancouver with you?

  • Tommy carruthers is a top JKD teacher in Scotland , I've never met him

  • it's an impression or you there is some wing chun in your punches ?

  • ur amazing.i'm completely impressed

  • Very nice... You must be happy with that talent.

    ~Doreon~

  • i think thats the point with his size. he goes for vital spots quickly and rapidly... that would suck.

  • Following speed is power. With technique, he can generate even more damage.

No speed, no power. Bone bruises muscle btw.

  • that's freaking awsome

  • that looks very simillar to jdk

  • JKD ;)

  • Were you always this fast, or did you achieve this level of speed with hard training? Nice video by the way:)

  • Thanks. Train alot but its important to train properly . For more info , pls go on my forum :)
