To me the new pokemon are somehow overdesigned... nothing to hate them for but look at the 1. gen guys: clear and simple creatures, you just knew what your dealing with.

And now they got loads of unnecessary stuff, totally random shapes and cryptic names, so you sometimes can't even tell the type without looking it up...

well, i really tried. i really did, but pokemon will never be as awesome again as of when it started. The first 151 pokemon were freakin awesome, but now its just mostly bullshit. 2 metal gears is a pokemon? wtf? theyre inspiration really started to fall after the original, which is a shame because pokemon is awesome..

Seriousley, one brown lump w/ a face is a mole, three of them is an evolution, three magnemites is an evolution, and what about the pile of purple slime known as grimer? make it bigger and it's an evolution! or what about adding another head to a doduo so it evolves! sure some are a bit weird, but alot of them are simple enough to fit in with the first generation. And the others are just amazing in looks!
