I agree that both of those are better. This one is just a bit of crazy fun. I just meant it felt the same making it, since I had the idea in my head for about as long.... Mean Streets works on more levels. I felt it practically made itself, after seeing the footage together with Cassius. This one I just saw in my head with insane music. Seeing your Mad Max Revisited made me think "Damn, I gotta start working on the movie The Chase, already!". So I did, and here we are. :-)
Was hoping you would like it. I feel this is classic thegrimyeaper-stuff. Much like "Mean Streets, Crazy Legs", this one had been brewing in my head for a while before I actually made it. Very satisfying to get it out there.
I was definitely thinking that it's on par with "Mean Streets, Crazy Legs" and I am proud of you for delivering something of this caliber again. Now, have you given any further thought to doing what I suggested a while back? A video using footage from the film Gattaca?
Interesting that you think I'd do anything good using Gattaca... I thought about it last week when I saw it available on DVD in a record shop, but other than that, not much. Maybe I'll pick it up next time I'm in town. I saw it on TV waaay back, don't even remember what it was about, so I'll have to sit down and dissect it first. I trust your instincts, so I'll definitely check it out.
dude
this thing is awesome hahahah :D
great job

Great stuff, but, I still think Mean Streets was better. And I still like Labyrinth more :)
Anyway, I'm going to go on a rampage of music videoclips very soon :)
Stay tuned, I always like to have feedback from you :)
Anyway, I loved this video, even though I think the others were better, but.. it's quite close to them :)

My next video will be about Eraserhead from David Lynch. It's going to be similar to the 2001: A Space Odissey clip. I think you'll enjoy it :)

Loved Eraserhead. I remember it was like watching a dream on my television screen... I'll watch out for it! :-)

Haha...Charlie doing that little dance as he's driving! Awesome track. Again, another song that perfectly matches what's onscreen. Great work.
