RE: too many fuzz pedals. The truth is - a lot of the subtlety you can get from boutique fuzz is totally lost in a live gig. These might be good for recording, but in a noisy bar nobody can tell the difference between fuzz pedal A and fuzz pedal B and "overdrive" A , etc. The more fuzz, the more lost in the mix you'll be. So find yourself one or two pedals that can pretty much cover the waterfront, and call it a day. Save up for better delay and better AMP.
