Thank you for producing this and sharing it with us. The darkness-and-light photo at :13 is interesting. It seems that the nose-touching thing Karen did at times (:30) was something she did to try to hide her delight. At 7:44 of the Carpenters' 1973 visit to the White House (just posted), she did the same thing.... Great piece of video, starting at 3:22! I love this happy song! Some people would have us believe the Carpenters sang only sad songs.
