This shows how when you are a "peaceful anti war" nation you can peacefully sit by as millions of people are being tortured and murdered. This is why I am not for isolationism and all the Ron Paul crap. The U.S. also turned away a ship of hundreds of Jews trying to escape from Nazi Germany. Almost all of the people on that ship were murdered in concentration camps. I still am not sure if that was FDR's choice or not. I have to think he could have done more.

I didn't agree with you on anything. I don't despise Canada. I've been there a couple times...enjoyed it. I'm not a "warmonger" simply because I believe some wars are justified. I think it's acceptable and necessary to intervene in certain situations...like genocide.

Its not our job to be policing the world. Our nation is becoming broke and taking care of the corporations/banks/ and other countries around the world, rather than the US people

i went to the concentration camp in buchenwald. being in a place where so many people died and seeing the same things what they saw when they were there, having the same view on the landscape which they had while they were starving to death made me feel really sick. i will never understand how people dare to say that they didnt know about what happened, they only didnt want to know it. i wish i could do something to make it less painful for the people who survived.
