That song starting from 17:18, isn't that quite like the Cave of Bad Dreams music of Rayman 2? But this game was released in 1996 while Rayman 2 was released in 1999. Is this an earlier version of that tune?

(Movie author): I've been wanting to do the GBA one forever. It's really long and complicated though. So far I have a run that completes through Bongo Hills but that's it.

Almost wish I had some help!

Though what I'm really waiting for is a good enough PS1 emulator to run the proper version of the game...
