I just found out about these poor bears in December, it broke my heart and depressed me for days. I do my best to support the wonderfull group Animals of Asia, they are doing great things. One day, animals will be free.

I'm glad Karen Mok is helping such a great cause. It's cruel what is happening to the Moon Bears. Perhaps someday humans will learn better, we in our generation won't see much change, but we can set the steps for the next generation and perhaps they will see the change.

Dear LanBao, The Chinese government is becoming active in closing down bear bile farms as substitutes are available. One was just closed and AnimalsAsia just received 28 very debilitated and frightened darlings. I am an avid bear fan thanks to Cute Knut of Berlin Zoo & learned they are considered as intelligent as great apes and emotionally complex. They are magnificent yet at the same time endearingly adorable. I hope this news cheers you as there is much we can all do.
