I like this interpretation very much...it´s gentle, full of tenderness but not "glossy melancholy". As to the lyrics, it is very difficult to translate something so fragile and romantic one as this song (as to me one of the worst item is to transform French lyrics into English because there are very different vehicles of expression in these too languages...it´s same as for example very powerful Edith Piaf´s son Misericorde or Non, je ne regrette rien (the English version was not so moving one...
