When dogs get wet, their fleas "crawl" and bite. That IS what he's reacting to. Dogs don't normally do this because their wet, but when they also happen to have a flea infestation and need a good dip and shampoo for it. It's typical behavior, but not of wet dogs in general. Poor little guy. Ever give him a flea bath ? Many don't.
from idiot to idiot: elvis was just a little bit wet after taking a walk in the rain and he simply tried to rub himself dry. what help could a vet offer in that case? blow-drying?
The funniest part is when they pause for two seconds to look you dead in the eye as if to say, "WTF are you looking at?" and then continue the insanity.
Beagles usually try to rub themselves in any kind of dirt or mud, to get the human scent, or any other scents off them. It's to prepare for hunting. When there isn't some kind of dirt, they'll use the floor.

no, don't worry. just been out in the rain, was totally wet, tried to get dry. always does that when he gets wet, so funny!
