I had to that for my grandmother my first time to Thailand for Songkran, I always thought it was lots of water throwing around at first, but I am glad that I went because I learn the tradition behind it. I didn't poor water on my grandmothers body, but bascially poor water on her hand... love the experience can't wait to go back again.
in Bangkok they just smear that stuff all over your face and throw water at you rather violently.
btw we don't need to see grandmas titties...
