The lead singer is Douglas "Smokey" Scott of "Thin Line Between Love & Hate" fame. Some of this group morphed into The Persuaders. As I recall it Willie Holland, Douglas "Smokey" Scott, and James Barnes were The Internationals. The record label went under in 1969 & the usual argument over who owned the name followed. From these ashes, The Persuaders were born. Scott, Barnes & Holland added Charles Stodghill & became the first version of The Persuaders until Stodghill died in 1972.
