  • I LOVE THIS SO MUCH! BEST MUSICAL EVER EVER EVER

  • I am so unbelievably excited! My school is going to performing this musical and I got a callback for both Valjean and Javert, my favorite roles! Wish me luck!

  • "Yes, it means I'm free."

    "...No." <3

  • O MELHOR MUSICAL DE TODOS OS TEMPOS!

  • What ever happened to the FULL musical? There was a video that was an two hours or so long.

  • @mumimomumimo

    throut? check your spelling.

  • My high school marching band is doing a compilation of this for our field show this year! this music is amazing

  • I. am. so. EXCITED!!!!! My freshman year of high school, and we're doing Les Mis(: super excited :D

  • now thats a good brother stealing to save a sisters son

  • he sounds like steven tyler trying to reach that high c

  • I'm a jonas fan and I love those boys sooooo muchhhh!!! I Lov Les miserable too!! I knew this musical not because of nick! I knew this musical because of Glee when Lea sing On My Own and because my Spanish class (I'm from Puerto Rico). For my(the jonas fan) Nick did an awesome job but for my (the musician and singer fan of les miz) he did a good job! I lov both but I lov more this version.

  • At 7:14.. I want to know how he does that without killing his voice! I'm not going to lie, I kind of wish to steal his vocal chords..

  • @dragonrulr4 come on...!!! it is nothing special just very much opened sound with very much opened throat...!!!...:)

  • @mumimomumimo it's the C an octave above middle C, that is the highest note pavorotti could hit so i would call it pretty damn impressive, most valjeans just do it in falsetto

  • @DrinkOmally for the record, Pavarotti had high C#s and Ds... listen to his 1971 recording of Rigoletto with Milnes and Sutherland, in which he hits both... furthermore, most singers actually have notes much higher than they ever sing in public, rather they opt to sing only that which is secure 100% of the time in performance. obviously, Colm here has quite a secure high C!

  • @mumimomumimo thats 100% correct but to noobs its amazing

  • @mumimomumimo And a VERY trained voice. Otherwise he wouldn't have one left after a couple of shows.

  • thanks for putting this up. I have been looking for it for a long time. I saw Les Miserables when I was younger and it brings such good memories.

  • Lovelovelovelove. thank you so much for putting this up. It's so amazing.

  • The 25th anniversary was on PBS, I like this version better

  • @GSEagle85

why? 25th had nick jonas as marius!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! as a girl and having seen this musical 25 times before and having read thre book andthe sequel, i loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BUT THIS ONE IS BETTER COSTUME AND SONG WISE. K IM DONE.

  • @Sherlockandwatson007 With all due respect, Nick Jonas being in the 25th was a wtf for me, but, I saw this original anyway so that is probably where the bias comes from

  • @GSEagle85...I agree completely...Nick Jonas was a mistake for the 25th anniversary...I have both DVD's and there's no comparison...this cast was superior

  • @gaeilgeO1 Nick Jonas isn't even close to the skill level necessary to perform in such a renowned play as Les Mis

  • Javert is secretly my favorite. ;)

  • @Karli1017 my favorite is Gavroche

  • @Karli1017 me too he is an amazing dynamic character!

  • @Karli1017

    MINE 2

  • my mom used to have this playing every sunday!! when she passed away i watched this over and over for about 2 months...thank you for putting the whole musical up!!!

  • thats right 0 dislikes it should stay that way

  • DO NOT FORGET MY NAAAMME!

    DO NOT FORGET MEEEE!

    Who could?

  • MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • i heard this when i was 10 years old and fell in love with it! im 14 now and im glad i love this kind of music instead of the shit that is music nowdays!

  • @iceybloodspell amen

  • thank u so much for posting this masterpiece ....im 24....

  • "yes, it means im free!" "...No." LMAO i love that part

  • The Bishop reminds me of Éomer from Lord of the Rings XD

  • I can't believe you uploaded the whole musical. :) Not many people in my country appreciates this type of stuff, so i don't get to watch it.

  • @Lynn290597 enjoy it then...:) where are you from...?

  • @mumimomumimo Singapore, if you know where that is.

  • @Lynn290597 sure i know!!! the city of tiger... maybe you can tell me what the five stars means...?

  • @mumimomumimo Actually, it's a lion city, not tiger. :) It's nice to hear that you know where it is. the five stars stand for democracy, peace, progress, justice and equality. :)

  • @Lynn290597 of course lion!!! sorry for my mistake :)

  • @mumimomumimo it's okay.:) I'm happy that there are people who have heard of us. Singapore is a really small country. :)

  • @Lynn290597 But it is the city of Tiger Beer =)

  • @Lynn290597 That's were they make the delicious Hello Panda cookies btw that's not the only significant thing that I know of Singapore :)

  • @crakcheadsunited That's nice to hear! :) Because some people don't know that there's even a country called Singapore. You just made my day. :)

  • @Lynn290597 i know that feel

  • Thank you for the upload. Nobody posts plays on the internet. Seriously, it's annoying. There's rarely anything good in my area.

  • It means I'm free

    No

Just the way Javert sings/says it I think it's hilarious.

  • hm, this is...interesting. this is the first time i've watched this before, and i only looked at it cuz i have the chance of doing either little women or les mis next year for my musical, and i thot this would be more fun......but its sort of boring at the moment to me. maybe i'm just not insightful enough, idk

  • seriously. do les mis. ive done both

  • thanks, that's what i wanted to do. little woman just sounded so boring.

  • no probs

  • I love this musical, it's so awesome first watched it at Lowell High School

  • Do not forget his name.

  • Love the musical. LES MISERABLES RULES!!!!!!!
