I just dont get burnout comps at all. How do you win? Whats going on lol is it just to try and make as much smoke and noise as possible while melting your 30 thousand dollar big block you'v been building for the last 7 years? Sure if you wanna heat your slicks up go for it but i just dont get the point of these comps or summernats and all that in general... my gf has a hemi 6 charger were restoring and she tells me its for the kids? I just couldnt do this to my own car i love it too much.

Yep, I knew the guy who owned it. It caught fire at Summernats a couple years before that and he rebuilt the whole car and got the FRIED numberplates to suit, then he was driving it out to the drags and it caught fire again, and this time it went all the way. Moral of the story - don't use cheap hose clamps.

I did a burnout in my car one time. It was a fucking beauty. We drove as far as we could into the bush, ripped the seats to pieces with a knife and soaked the fucking thing in Premium Unleaded. Man, it went up like a fucking atom-bomb and I got 7 grand insurance payout from the . . . what not that type of burnout but I've already said ah, ignore what I said. No burnout!
