fat fuck cant even do his own stunts - the last minute of the above video CLEARLY has a stunt double do the more effective shit - fuck Seagal and fuck Aikido - glad I quit and started BJJ (I live in Japan and most Aikidoka that I have met are stuck up assholes, despite the fact that in a real life situation they wouldn't be able to do shit).
What the F? is up with the music. It's almost like a slap em up western (lol). You alsmost expect Luigi to pop up drinking vino and talking with an american over-dub...lol
doesn't listen to (some of)them, @ 2:09 he's doing tai chi. in this movie he's primarily a 'tai chi' master as opposed to his usual aikido master-self. it took me by surprise when i watched it but i dig seagal anyway
great choreography, it is just that Steven Seagal is not on Kung Fu, it looks like the film producers felt it would be a good idea to do some Bruce Lee stuff for the audience. And come on, they went a little too far with those kicks high in the air.
The movie where he used the lumber is called, "Fire Down Below", the scene in the market is from "Belly of the Beast". The scene where he beat the shit out of the police is also in "belly of the Beast". The final scene I do believe is from, "Out for a kill'. I'm not sure about the scene with the sword fight in the hanger, I think it's from "The Foreigner". About the soft hands, I don't think that was Aikido but at his level of training I'm sure he's learned other different forms of fighting.
Actually, besides the first scene which is from Fire Down Below" All others are from Belly of The Beast. The final scene is the last fight from the film where Seagal's character confronts the Thai general.
The sword fighting (multiple opponents?) is from when Seagal goes to meet the Algerian arms dealer and is ambushed by the Thai "woman's" henchmen.
The song "sigal" was a great hit in Israel. It was preformed by Aris San, who was originally from Cyprus, but represented in Israel of that era Greek music.
Notice how anything requiring him to move in a fast or co-ordinated way is shot so you can't see his head/face? It's because he uses stunt doubles for everything where he has to move more than his arms. Early movies were decent. Now's he's just an aikido blob.

Actually, while I am sure we all know that Seagal is an aikido expert...that particular maneuver was tai-chi, not aikido.

I've never seen Steven Segal fight like that (reffering to the soft hands he was using at 2:00). I wonder why that is.
