i was just hoping someone could answer this question for me:

did the prophet muhammad (salah allah alayhi wa salim) learn how to read after receiving revelation -

i know during the first revelation -sayidna muhammed (saaws) said he couldn't read and then this verse was revealed to him as part of the first surah: Allama al-insana ma lamyaAAlam --- Taught man that which he knew not.-----

i just need some clearification please and thankyou!

it says in the hadith that gibriel (AS) came down to him and said read he said i cant he then bear hugged him almost depleting him of air he then said read and the prophet (sala allahu alaihi wa sallam) said i cant he continud until the third and said read in the name of ur lord he then started reading (Allahua3lam)

dont take my word for it im not 100% sure if that is how it meant but i know its somewhere along the lines

Salam, in the sirah, our prophet was an ummi His whole life. this is evidence during the hudaibiyah treaty between the muslims and the meccans long after the first revelation when saiyidina Ali wrote "Agreement between Rasulullah and Suhail ibn amir" but the meccan objected to the title Rasulullah on reference to the Prophet, so Rasulullah asked Ali r.a to strike the word "Rasulullah" but Ali couldn't, so the Prophet asked ali which part of it to be strike so that He may strike it Himself...
