wow, I'm glad that people listen to the music in movies! I also heard it on "The Italian Job", but recently heard it on a commercial for makeup on TV. My husband is a bandleader in Las Vegas and I asked him to write it up and play it next time he has a gig at one of the old downtown hotels....they play classics, and this is certainly one of them. Love this song!

I remember hearing this very song from the movie Italian Job. Whenever I was in a airplane this song would get in my head. Whenever I thought of Disney Land I thought of this. I got to go to Cali after not going for many years and this song was in my head the whole trip. I love California. I still dream about my experience there. I finally understood this song when I went there at age 19 instead of the last time I went at age 10.
