@theuniformgurlz I personally find it quite difficult... i've been taking private lessons for nearing 3 years now, and i am relatively good at saxaphone and it gives me some trouble. there are 2 cadenza's, one of which is quite hard, and it has numerous Triplets, and has two flats. you could try it out :P i recommend Andante & Allegro if you play Alto Saxaphone, that is my favorite piece, and it isnt TOO hard.
@theuniformgurlz I am not quite sure, but at the time i looked it up it was Grade 8. But i just looked up First Concertino and it said it was a grade 8 AB selection. i have to admit i'm quite confused, but Andante & allegro took me a month or two to learn, and this has been well over 3 months and i'm only partial to the first 2 pages.
would you please tell me what kind of a saxophone you have and I'm curious about the mouthpiece and the reed as well. So everything. :) I really like your voice. Thanks!
I'm playing this for middle school solo and ensemble. It's very challenging but that's what I like about it. Anyway props to you. You managed to pull off a 100% perfect concert bringing in different colours and personalities. Cheers from Maryland
You sound amazing! My teacher just gave me this solo today to work on so I wanted to hear what it sounded like. You defiantly met my need with flying colors!
thanks man! i found this video a few months ago when i started practicing my solo and ensemble which was First Concertino and you really helped me get my superior thats bringing me to state this year.
This is awesome. I really like your playing...How old are you and how long have you been playing? This was quite impressive, you have an awesome mastery of the music, even towards the end where the passages get really difficult. Good job!
@JesusTheWise is Andante and Allegro a current grade 8 choice because i cant seem to find it on the syllabus ...who composed it? xx
thanks fro advice btw :)

I've just started this piece. I hope I will be able to play it at least half good as you do.

Very nice, you have a very nice sound on the sax- the only thing that I question is the scoop from the beginning. But other than that I enjoyed it
