  • but seriously the military uses this

  • sounds like James Bonds flashdrive

  • SELF-destruct :D

  • That looks much better than the website banners make out. I might get one.

  • wow that would suck if you forgot your password

  • The IronKey includes a built-in optional service for backing up your password in case you forget it.

  • Its the top of the line USB you'll ever use. I have one and it's the only one I use.

  • The IronKey my cost more than other USB drives, but you get alot more for the cost, buy one try it, if you don't like it never buy one again

  • Holy crap I never knew this little thing could do all this I have seen it before but woah

  • All i can say is.....Me want one!

  • I'm gonna be getting one as well, I'm gonna spring for the 8 gigabyte one.

  • wow, i jizzed a little it was so good, im gonna buy one

  • one word...WOW!

  • I own an Ironkey, going on about 6 months now. It's a great product, and it works exactly as advertised. A+++

  • You can bye one on Amazon for £52 for 1GB

  • The 1Gb Ironkey costs around £51 Pounds.

  • does it like fire?

  • Ive owned one for a while now ...great product A++++

  • WOW

    it's awesome

    how much is it coast???

  • i want to see one self destruct!

  • It'll be a rare video.. they're pretty expencive..

  • Before I saw the IronKey, I thought it would be cool for solid state drives to have a reset bit to reset all data bits to zero in hardware in the case that the reset bit is asserted. I'm assuming this is what they are doing for their "self destruct" feature.

  • untrue, the cryptochip literally erases it's encryption keys (basically the way to decode the password) and makes the key nothing more than a paperweight forever.

  • Kind of, but it delete the cryptochip information, and the dirve is now dead

  • I just got one this is so cool

  • I want one! :D

  • i got one w00t

  • where did you get one, and for how much

  • If man can make it, man can break it

    Awesome though

  • Some levels of encryption are at "Don't Bother" for cracking with current technology. I am assuming this may be one of them.

  • Actually, even physically breaking it seems to be a challenge, it was crushed by a treaded Bobcat skid loader and then after multiple times of running over it still worked. It's resiliant. I'd question if it is even possible to pop it open without destroying it utterly. It is twice as expensive as ordinary encrypted keys, but it is also quite possibly the only key that may stand a chance against the NSA.

  • You could have fun trying to break into it if you like, doing this would only brick the IronKey

  • I'm so getting one.

  • sweeeeeeet!!! wonder where i can buy in here in india?!

  • Nice design, nice idea about security. I think I'll buy one, then this product comes to my country.

  • I'll see what I can do for more demos.

Sorry, no free devices for blowing up your IronKey. :)

  • Sorry, I meant an alpha version of the IronKey software for Mac OSX is already on the device (let's you unlock in on a Mac).

Alpha version for Linux is on the latest devices too.

  • Alpha Mac is already on the device. Linux will be coming out shortly.

Check out the IronKey Forum for the latest info.

  • Secure session service... Interesting... No Linux?

    Katalyzt

  • ... cool.

  • Sweet
