In reality, homosexuality (in most cases) cannot be helped and is a result of human evolution and genetics. In Leviticus, the passage is not put in context to the time; all the female prostitutes would be busy and men, impatiant for release, would hire the male ones. I think you'll find that I follow the bible perfectly well. On Human Rights: they're controvening 8 human rights & a possible further 3 more.

@spackhollogay Most of the laws in the Bible that people choose not to follow happen to be morally incorrect. For example, the Bible states that homosexuality is a sin. In reality, homosexuality (in most cases) cannot be helped and is a result of human evolution and genetics. To discriminate people based on uncontrollable traits such as this is, to the mentally stable person, a very (for lack of a better word) hateful thing to do. God's word, I believe, was big on loving thy neighbor?

@akariglimmer i hope that you could maybe look for truth in the bible. there are passages that talk about how the homosexual lifestyle is wrong, examples being Leviticus 18:22 - "Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable." that is a pretty clear verse, i dont know how much clearer it could be, and the definition of detestable being "abominable; hateful." something that is abominable and hateful should probably not be condoned, especially when God finds it abominable.

@SandstormatUSC Well thats your opinion. Fact is most gay people will say they were born gay and theres nothing they can do about it. If you stop and think about it , don't you remember when you were a kid and some kids just seemed like they had a lot of the other sex's characteristics? Some girls were born bulky with boyish male features some guys were girly, but they were kids, they didn't even think about stuff like that.
