Yeah because one thing I read the Bible. Actually most atheists were religious before they renounced their faith. I was a Christian for 20 years and my parents sent me to Christian schools since kindergarten. Reading my Bible resulted in my apostasy.

Yeah because one thing I read the Bible. Another I used to be a Christian myself like you until one day I started realizing how ridiculous the stories were in the Bible and all other absurdities and contradictions in it and anything else I was taught in Sunday school, church, and a youth group I was in. I also started researching and learning more about science, history, other religions, etc and now an Atheist.

I once opened the possibility of believing more in science than in God but because God has purpose, meaning and made me see things science can never and WILL never explain, evolution and all that skepticism has to offer was no longer an option. And the thing is, there are people who say they're devout Christians (which I won't doubt their faith at all because, you know, who am I to do so?) but they doubt that He created the heavens, the earth and everything you see. If God can do great miracles and save lives, isn't He just as capable of creating such a complex universe?

Actually most atheists were religious before they renounced their faith. I was a Christian for 20 years and my parents sent me to Christian schools since kindergarten. Reading my Bible resulted in my apostasy.
