don't really like this song. i thought that their new album had too many pop songs. i think that the change to capital records hurt their sound. It was good to see their re-release of feel good drag and disappear, but the rest of new surrender was too radio friendly.

its just my opinion. yes there are some bright points in the album but it's just not as good as their older albums. (made a mistake. they aren't on capital, they signed to universal.)

I can see what you mean, but think about individual songs like the resistance, disapear, feel good and even haight street.

they all sound like they could have been off cities or NTFP.

but there are some which are a bit sub bar (eg retrace)

i watched a interview of christian and nate talking about how after they finnished the album and listened to it they realized there were alot of pop songs on it, and they said thats probally because when they were writing those songs they were all really happy stephen had just gotten maried and they got sighned to a major label. though they said that the next album will be darker and more of a rock album.

i saw them a year and a half ago when they were touring with bayside, and the only thing that was wrong with the show was the fact that i couldn't hear any of the singing. but both times i saw them on warped this year, they were amazing. he's definitely one of the best vocalists out there right now.

I love Anberlin. It's like every 5 minutes they have a new album coming out! I saw them at the 2006 Edge Fest, and they were awesome! I can't wait to see them July 19th at Warped Tour
