hi! I just bought this game, but its very slow (like is kind of freeziii when i play) . "HP Pavilion dv6700 Notebook PC" its the model of my pc.. the processor is "Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T1800 @ 2.10 GHz 2.10 GHz.
lol i have the full game with patch 1.1 added and in the assault level in the harbour hangar a rifle that was on the floor just kept shooting without stopping untill i took it and the driving phisics sometimes sucks like in awakening i was driving my hummer and i boosted for a jump and when i hit the grounds my hummer exploded it was barely 5 meters! and in the same level i ran over a korean at high speed the impact caused 20% damage to an armored car(!) and a body caused it to flip over!WTF!?
That's because when you hold your weapon in-game, the weapon is not registered as a physical entity, and according to the Crytek engine, shadows are only spawned when there is a physical entity in the path of light.
Shadow is render by a simple model of the character and not the objects he carries , most engines do that because it is more cpu intensive to render all shadows on moveable objects , blow up a tree and you will notice that that the pieces of that tree will not have a shadow , it's not quite there yet but still it is a good engine
So wat? Its just a small glitch with no gun shadow.....nobody would be paying attention to the shadow anyway so its not a big deal....Its still an awesome ass game....cant fucking wait!!! =D
I found another bug, in that video he carries a barrel to blow up the GPS reciever while carrying the barrel the shadow is seen like the character is running.
thats becaus they else have to make all animations for every different thing you pick up (game has real time shadows, so it renders from you animation
im sure that trailer is a few months old and it is slated for release on 16th November so i reckon crytek got some time. you should go play stalker lol.

note books have crappy graphics cards so all the graphics cards in a notebook will not be supported just run it.

its nice that all the glitches in crysis are harmless (at least to my knowledge)
none of them make your pc crash like in other games
btw, for some reason I do see the guns shadow on the demo that i downloaded
