  • what's the song where they've just left Frank and Hannah's flat and they're driving through the roads?x

  • @HannieeeAllStar u mean when frank is dead?

  • GY!BE means-means godspeed you!black emperor!

  • in 28 days later and 28 weeks later movie, those are not zombie, those are infected people :3

  • I checked on the album on iTunes and I couldnt find it at all!does anyone no if it's under a different name

  • @Raiden815zeta no, seeing a gy!be are anti-corporation, i highly doubt you'll be able to find it on itunes. the album is called 'F#A# Infinity" or "F#A# ∞"

  • This movie is entirely based on Zombies. That's why people get bitten and turn. A zombie is a dead corpse that has been reanimated to be brought back to life. The virus acts as a zombie- virus. When bitten, the subject gets extremely sick, dies, then rise back to life filled with rage with one anticipation, kill everyone and everything. Anyways, great song, Jim is my favorite of the 28 Later series (he was on Inception). Tehee. c:

  • @DrummerLordProdigy reanimation?? That's Resident Evil! Your watching to many movies.

  • @8TheB3AT8, nope. They're similar though. 28 Days Later's infection went airborne right when they let the infected chimps escape, they were testing a virus on them. Yet in Resident Evil the disease was airborne when an artificial virus was created by Umbrella. But the virus will only activate one brain function, feeding. Sounds a lot like 28 Days Later to me.

  • @DrummerLordProdigy If the virus was airborne at that point, how come you needed to be infected via fluids to contract the virus? That was a pretty major plot point in the movies.

  • @DrummerLordProdigy The infected don't die in the 28 series, and most zombies don't have a desire to kill everything - You need to re-watch some movies.

  • @TUALMASOK69 zombies live forever until they dont get killed, but infected lives about 5 weeks

  • Does this song come on when Jim leaves the hospital and scavenges around the city

  • @Salb814 Yes it is.

  • @patriot1521 not sure if troll or just idiot...nazi's were world war two...

  • @MrFoxcry

Notice that he didn't say anything about Nazis......

Mustard Gas was a weapon used extensively throughout WWI

  • @patriot1521 oh wait I'm a moron. I forgot about nazi zombies. I wondered where I thought of that

  • anyone imagine combining 28 days later with a world war 1 setting? With all the gas they used in the war I can see a good movie in that. Imo ww1 + infected zombies would make for a good movie.

  • 28 days Later really isn't even about zombies, in the same way the Fight Club really isn't about fighting...

  • @bennyv04988 aye but the zombies in it are cool as fuk!!

  • @fifilaqua they were kind of the first "fast zombies" weren't they? Very badass, for sure, and scary as !@$#!

  • @bennyv04988 Whoa could you elaborate on this statement for me please? You just caught my interest.

  • @THEOPD - I could talk for hours about both films, but my comment was just highlighting that this movie, and Fight Club, are so much deeper than zombies or fighting. To me, 28 Days Later was more about mentally surviving such a scenario than anything else. You have the scene with Jim's parents, selena having to kill mark, the charming father and daughter, the innocence of the grocery run, the wild horses, soldiers exploiting their power, the reality of how the world shut them off, etc.

  • @THEOPD - and then you have fight club which challenges your conventional notions of worth, purpose, success, uniqueness, etc, only ever using fighting as a means to say "we want to feel something real". It's one of those reality check movies, like the matrix even, and says this is where you're wrong about your life, and this is what you're looking for. 28 Days Later tackles zombies and says "this is how it would actually feel, and here's all of the the scenarios you never thought about."

  • @bennyv04988 I couldn't agree more. Both are among my favorite films for precisely that reason. For me, 28 Days Later had a lot of themes similar to Lord Of The Flies i.e The loss of innocence and the dark hearts of mankind. *spoiler ahead.* By the end, with Jim covered in blood and slaughtering the soldiers I got a feeling there was little difference between the zombies and 'normal' people. Most of the horror in this film came from the uninfected people, I thought.

  • This song judt puts me there.

  • This song is truly amazing. Great movie.

  • Jim's Theme.

  • this movie needed a lil more action! 2nd movie is good.

  • @illuminat1believer1 na. the thing that gave the first film its eerie briliance was the lack of fighting. Anyone can add action or fighting to a film and call it an improvement but it would take away the film's soul I think. Thats why I dont really aprove of the second film's director who tried to make it apeal to a larger audience by making the plot more simple. Thats just my opinion though and you are sertainly entitled to your own.

  • @warpunk1 Yeah. The action scenes in the first film were perfectly placed and needed. It was satisfying to see Jim push that dude's eyes into his head, where if that happened in any other movie it would just be a violent scene. Just the right amount of action.

  • @FutFraggle Yea that particular form of execution is 28's signature I think lol. If they ever do make a "28 months later" I want it to be the same director as the first film other wise they are just going to get worse and worse just like the resident evil films where the first one was the best and they slowly went down hill.

  • 2:17 Maximum Epicness

  • loved the church scene when jim was being chased by the infected

  • this song is like 15 minutes long

  • I like this whole song but 3:05 is just fuckin epic

  • 1:34 best part

  • I'd discovered GY!BE a while before I saw this movie. Danny Boyle did a fantastic job conveying a sense of isolation in the movie, especially during this scene.

  • @Vugam

But at least the name is correct, "East Hastings" ?

  • I don't really understand, this song was in the film, but not the official soundtrack, and in GY!BE's album... it's not a song, but 4 of them? From what wikipedia is telling me, it's the name of a disc in the album "F-sharp, A-sharp, Infinity"

  • @EdouardDubois It's a 4-part track. The sections of the track in 28 Days Later are from the 2nd part, The Sad Mafioso.

  • I like it when it hits 1:40

  • anyone know the song where jim starts to mess up the soldiers in the rain?

  • @Dante431 In The House, In A Heartbeat

  • 8 people were eaten by zombies :D

  • I love when it picks up at 1:41

  • This makes me think of that Chernobyl video I saw once.

  • .. horrible.

  • this song reminds me off a cloudy day down a long road in the country side...

  • @Vugam Yeah, check out the menus song. Its at the very end of the song just a tiny snipet

  • thats a really kewl peace

  • If anyone has ever played the video game Borderlands, give a shout out. There is a song on there that reminds me of the beginning of this song.

  • i like it nice an eerie

  • for the people that did want to see al the video (thumbs down for them) the best part start at 2:00

  • HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • @Vugam ahh man i hate when film makers do that shit. if possible im going to ask a friend of mine to add this song in a zombie movie he's making

  • @josepunkthrashdude 28 months later is more than 2 years.tha's a bit ridiculous.i don't think they're making another 1.unless they come up with a quite clever title that includes the # 28.

  • i saw somewhere some guy predicting that after being featured in this movie, the band would get huge and sign to some gigantic label and such, but its so nice to see that none of that happened. nothing but respect.

  • @wayfechylde3

yeah I'm so glad they broke up the band. Boy it would've sucked if they kept making albums. (sarcasm mode active)

  • @TheSchmuck2 broke up? i saw them about a month ago haha

  • @wayfechylde3

no new albums since 2002. check wikipedia. The years active sidebar pretty much sums it up.

I hadn't heard they were playing shows again, it's a somewhat recent development. Nice.

  • @TheSchmuck2 yep, theyre on tour right now, but hopefully that wont be the end of it. no press releases regarding the future, of course.

  • @TheSchmuck2 They have reformed, are currently touring, and are working on new material which they will begin recording in July. This is a decent 'preview,' but not really anywhere near the intensity of the original, with all the exposition.

  • HELLOOO!

  • @Vugam i hope they make it better than 28 weeks later-which was good but just felt souless in comparison to this one...

  • @Vugam true dat. why hasnt the 28 months later film been set up yet? is it canceled or something?

  • Pretty much every song on Day's OST is beautiful.

  • THANK you for posting. THIS song is the shit, i dont care for "in a heartbeat" everyone posts that one as the theme.

  • Very sinister

  • i remember seeing this movie when i was like 9 when it first came out. disturbed me more than the resident evil movie at the time

  • i love the barren feeling. It's like a disease ridden wast land in your ears.

  • 6 people are infected with the rage virus.

  • The soundtrack to this movie is absolutely brilliant. It fits perfectly with the movie and gives it such a desolate feeling. Even if you don't watch the movie, you can feel the loneliness and panic. The music alone tells the story. Who needs images?

  • @Ylemonade deaf people?

  • @dantesora2 I feel sorry for deaf people. At least the ones who went deaf after experiencing sound. :(

  • @Ylemonade yeah that would drive me insane.

  • This song reminds me of just knowing your the only one in a outbreak

  • i sort of h8 zombie/virus films but at the same time love them especially 28 days later.. so this song is kinda creepy to me:D i love it but every time i listen to it

i just feel that some infected are coming closer to me XDD SO CREEPY!!?!?!?

  • And somehow this isn't even Godspeed at their best. Mindfuck.

  • @Vugam It's like desolation

  • Just started watching this movie now, for probably the 10th time...

I love this song so much

  • @Vugam Yes, I am a musician. However, I simply meant that 'In the House, In a Heartbeat' is 'better' for Call-Of-Duty based Zombie-Gaming applications. I wasn't comparing the musical merit of either piece.

  • 28 MILLISECONDS LATER

  • @AbdiXL SIX. SIX HIPPIES.

  • play nazi zombies and listen to this at the same time :L fuckalucklishios..

  • @chrisalmighty100 'In the House, In a Heartbeat' is waaaaaay better. Give it a try.

  • @DarkDoorFilms

    Matter of opinion.

I prefer this not only because i like it more, but also due to the fact it's effect has worn off. If you ever played the Half life 2 mod Zombie master, you'd know why.

  • @Vugam yeah guitar is awsome and this song is awsome with the right tuning

  • i can play the beginning of this on the guitar its pretty easy

  • 5 zombies didnt like 28 days later

  • love it when it kicks in at 1:43 ;)

  • God dam you PETA! This could've been prevented if it weren't for you!!

  • This movie is so fcking awesome. i love the beginning, when he walks down the streets and realises he's all alone.

  • @Xxpetrandr007xX imagine that happening to you? wow.. i'd totally freak out xD

  • @Xxpetrandr007xX the scene made me stand up and clap :P

  • @Xxpetrandr007xX Yea. It's also cool when he realizes he's alone too.

  • @Vugam my bad dude

  • @Vugam non o remember it starts when he leaves the hospital and it starts going through mainland london

  • Where in the movie does this piece come in? And the full song is beautiful.

  • Why the hell are all these comments getting thumbs up ? These are just 2 retarded guys arguing over piracy and shit lol

  • lol when americans saw the film that are country made they must of been jelous

  • @Storm1053 I want jelous more like WOW you guys made a fucking good ass movie!

  • Amazing soundtrack <3

  • This movie kind of makes me wish I was British.

  • The opening scene of London is the best scene in the history of film scenes!

  • lol they cut a big chunk of the movement away at 1:43

  • omggg. I LOVE THIS SOOOOO MUCH!

  • every song in this movie fits right in with the scene its with.

  • you guys should listen to the full song

  • @DeeznutsFYC whaaat? There's a longer version? :S

  • @KiitCat Yes, the song is called East Hastings, and it's from their first album F#A#Infinity. It FAR longer, almost 20 minutes.

  • @crocz thank you (: found it!

  • After seeing 28 days later (the best movie I have ever seen by FAR) evertime I hear this song I get creeped out. This song was actually able to scare me a bit! One of the most influential pieces of music I have ever.

  • What's this song called?

  • @thedudethatkilledyou

The song is called 'East Hastings' by the band Godspeed You! Black Emperor, however this is only a section of it. The full song runs for about 18 minutes. It's much better that way.

  • So the full name of the band is 'Godspeed You! Black Emperor'?

  • @Vugam the irony is I (and assuming many) never heard of GSYBE before 28 days later...

  • @iceguy0077

Yep! :) Many great songs and bands are put to the light thanks to movies. That's a great thing. These two medias go so well together (image and music). I believe this particular song was edited alot from it's original (and longer) version for the movie, but if you find it, you'll love it just as mutch. This is a powerfull song, I'd like to hear more too... Note: another nice song came to us from a movie: "Mad World", by Tears for Tears. A remake was made for the movie Donnie Darko

  • @iceguy0077

And this remake was so nice that it's how we discovered it and it became popular... Remember the Trailer on TV for the game Gears of War? ;)

It's the version from Donnie Darko!

  • This song along side In the House in a hearthbeat made the movie even more epic that it was already.

Why the fuck it is not in the OST????

  • 3 people are infected

  • Man, I'm so excited. I'll be seeing this band in March.

  • Someone should do an Assassins Creed montage to this song.

  • @Vugam stupids! it took 3 years to finally found the title of the song!!

  • @lcascone86 Yeah.. okay.. next time look at the end credits for songs that weren't on the soundtrack, okay? It's not THAT hard

  • @VenusVoicez sorry mr smartness, most of the people doesnt have the real DVD, i just downloaded it and it didnt appear... but, man, im sure you should get a Nobel Prize! you r fucking smart! arent you?

  • @lcascone86 Smarter than you for buying the movie instead of an illegal download.

  • @VenusVoicez Points of view, man, points of view. I didnt pay, you did. Take your smartness, ill take my money

  • 3 people were eaten by zombies as this song was playing

  • @Vugam haha ty

  • i will never see the number 28 the same again

  • The three people who disliked this are responsible for the rage virus outbreak.

  • @YouCantDeleteDenzelL the people who disliked this were the hippies that let out the chimps in the beginning of the movie. lol

  • @AbdiXL LOL

  • @AbdiXL Hippies cause every major problem.

  • @AbdiXL

I couldn't agree. I would much rather say that those who dislike this song are the juxtaposing scientists who misuse their power to bring misery and destruction to the world.

That's how I interpret this song.

  • @AbdiXL LMFAO, man xDDD

  • @AbdiXL I love those hippies, with out them there would be no movie ;)

  • If I was walking the Earth in a no mans land I'd want this in the background playing..as I sifted through trash to find a pocket knife or a piece of metal to pick the locks keeping me from the Twinkie stash.

  • Aww man...it's not on the soundtrack on itunes....so does somebody know where I can get this?

  • In my opinion, this and "In The House, In A Heartbeat" were the music pieces that set the perfect mood for the two best scene in the movie. It wasn't on the soundtrack because the band only allowed the use of the song, not the selling/advertising of it I believe.

  • Was this the song that played int the beginning?

  • @TheBigWhiteGun they used it throughout the whole movie i think.

  • @therealloni no they didn't.

  • @davovincent2 yea, realized that after i said it aha :/

  • @TheBigWhiteGun Yeah, they played this from the beginning from him trying the telephones, looking at the newspaper that evacuation happened, him walking around the city saying, "HELLLLLOOOO!?!?! HELLO!?!?" And then goes into the church and then........ZOMBIES!!!!

  • Ive been looking for this song EVERYWHERE finnaly someone whos cool has it (:

  • @Vugam Thanks man what is it?

  • Omg thank you! I've been looking for this song everywhere.

  • this is the song i heard its awesome

  • man...28days later.....frickin....awesome....

  • one of the best films ever made

  • ¡¡jusus,time to fucking run!!

  • I just luv this!

  • 2 people were infected with the rage-virus and didn't like this song

  • was a while before i found this. at first could only find the john murphy song this is equally awesome if not better tho

  • Hello..? Hello? Hello?! HELLO?! HELLOOO?

I swear, 90% of the script is Jim saying that one word. :P

    <3333

  • one day i said let myself go on youtube, to see if my kool fellow 28 days friends put this song up. you guys didn't let me down our fan base is strong!! ^.^" <3

  • yaeh! see that! no dislikes. that is how `awesome a song this is.

  • @zoombie13 lol someone disliked. and it wasnt me. this song epicly awesome

  • i love how the song showed how fucked he was

  • Been looking for this for a while... I reckon this song is actually better than 'In the House - In a Heartbeat'

  • is there any way i could obtain a copy of this song from you? you did a phenomenal job!

  • super fucking scary made the soundtrack made the movie with no soundtrack it would not have been scary

  • nice work on the edit but u notice in the movie they repeat the part from roughly 1:44 - 1:56.

  • whoops my bad didnt see your annotation at the start

  • @Vugam its alright man:)
