I did a search & came up with over 70 Atheist charities. My favorite is Oxfam. Now if you contrast the number of Theist to Atheist this is a remarkable figure.

Oxfam is not atheist, but describes itself as "Non-Theist" and is faith-neutral; I think we can agree it's the best stance a charity can take; acting without hidden agenda or subliminal message ("we're doing this because our god told us to - you must believe in him") shows the very best in human compassion. But in my long experience I've mostly met Ned Fladers clones! (great folk tho)
