"All" of Red's song is a prayer to God. You guys can think whatever the band symbolize. This is really a prayer of forgiveness and reconcilation. I believe everyone has a little bit of God within them. Hurting people you love like your family and friends offends God.

There was never any question that the Bible is based on actual events. Jesus Christ, for example, was almost certainly a real fellow at some point, and indeed very wise for his time, and the migrations of certain peoples and colonizations of certain cities can be confirmed historically.
But one still has to appreciate that most of it is more likely intended as a cultural reference and a moral framework than a record of literal historical fact.
In a sense, worship of effigies of Christ is technically idol worship.
But on the other hand, I don't think it really matters. Any wise, benevolent god who truly loves his/her/its children without actually showing him/her/itself must appreciate that they will have thousands if not millions of different interpretations of who and what this god is, and will love it in different ways. Doesn't matter how it's done, only that it is love. ^^
Does it really matter what it's about? Personally, I like to think it's about a lost love. But, some people says it's about God and if you think that, good for you. If you don't, good for you. Just listen to the music, make your own decision about it. Hell, even if the artist themselves came on here and said what the song is about, don't listen to them. Make your own judgment.

i am sick of listening to music on youtube and hearing about how god is awesome and shit, quit focusing on god and focus on the music. I mean seriously, god has taken away most fo my friends and my family, so god can finger his own ass n hang himself, hes a tormenter and peoplew ho believe in him are warped into thinking that he actually cares about you. God doesn't give two shits about anyone, thats why he flooded the first world, he thinks this is a game

You believe he really is there... if you believe he had the power to flood the earth, you believe he is all powerful. You refuse to admit what you believe. People do use religion to their benefit like the churches wanted money so you could go to heaven and stuff I don't deny that...but believing in God is not religion. You can't use God. I mean He is God! God is different than religion. It's hard to understand how really powerful God is. He is not made up. Religions can be made up by some crazy people, but no human can make up God. Because He is soo perfect. We can't possible fathom who He is.

So please don't say "forcing" because God has the gift of salvation, and I am only sharing it. @naturehall ok, i understand. but theres also the side where jesus wants u to be accepting of other ppl, flaws and all. so if not believing in god is a flaw, and someone chooses not to believe, u have to accept that. u dont always have to change their view. and i am a believer as well before u get the wrong idea

But in everything you do you are trying to get people to know the Lord. It all depends on what God wants you to do. That why its important to pray and receive help from the Holy Spirit. People do choose their own path. This path leads to suffering. That's why we step in and try to share. It doesn't mean knock on their door everyday, it means to pray.

i remember my friend and i lost this campaign battle on xbox and were asking the online team if we could have a rematch... and then i realised we were listening to Start Again by Red at the same time. it was soooo hilarious cos we started singing 'one more tryyy. can we start agaiiin'.
the other team was pretty quiet. i think maybe they died from laughing.
