Not if your an extreme gamer. Yes, you can run most applications and games with a dual core, but as games get more advanced it will call for more power, meaning the quad will eventually become the norm. People that invest now are thinking ahead.

no its coold on stock its max temps on load are 60/65c its a realy gud card for a big overclock and its easy just get rivertuner and set the gpu at 820mhz shader at 2000mhz and the memory clock at 1200 mhz and it runs stabel i caint push my card anymore than that withowt artifacs tho but at them clock speeds crysis is mint

ok thanks...so now Iv'e raised the fan speed by 10% and did what you said. Uuh...52 C idle dont know on load but probably what you said...nice didn't thought that you could push this card that much, but thanks again.

btw I cant control the shader clock, so it's on 2052 (probably doesn't mater)

to control the shader clocks just detach them in river tuner thers a cheak box for it and to keep it cool raise the fan speed to 100% thats how i keep it kool lol sorry i forgot to mention that lol but onistly i run this card at them clock speeds when ever im gameing which is all the tym and its had no bad effects just more fps in crysis lol and np ur welcom man

yes the specs in the vid are compatible with the the 680i...actually i would have bought this bord, but here where i live the 780i has the same price as the 680i (+-). just make sure that your ram speed is one of the following: PC2-9600, PC2-5300, PC2-4300, PC2-6400. The one in the vid is a pc2-6400

Coach the XFX 780i Mobo can't go to 1424 FSB. So u must be mistaken because u have 1424/4

fsb at 356 Mhz. My DS4 goes up to 540 or 2160 for u.Nvidia chipset realy sucks fsb holes... data corruption and many more.The only way for nv chipset is SLI until Intel Chipsets do this. What's your CPU ?
