  • Don't know why, but I think it would have suited well as the main theme of one of the old James Bond movies...

  • The incomparable Frank Sinatra!

  • 10dislike--assholes!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • IMO the greatest Sinatra tune.Mesmerizing, sad and a memory shaker!

  • i love this song! and frank sang it so well...... he was in search of ava gardner perhaps?

  • @croonlover Very good point,i,ll bet your right.

  • Thank you Ford4312 for forcing me to hear this performance each and every time I visited here to browse through your goodies. It has finally penetrated my thick skull that this recording is something very special and is a true treasure.

  • This is a chilling song, great arrangement, delivery, and one of my all time favorite songs. He could have died after doing this one.

  • no words needed

    where are all those giants?

  • The Best!

  • Allahhhh!! nasıl bir ses! The voice! May rest in heaven.. I love you

  • 100 years from now, few people will know what swagger or a badonk-a-donk is, but the poetry of Sammy Davis, Frank Sinatra, and Dean Martin will always be relevant.

  • ¡¡¡Impresionante..!!!!

  • The saddest song ever written? Love it, love him too and oh, how it hurts...

Thank you for giving us this great song!

  • was this song originally Italian, sang by an Italian singer before Sinatra? I thought it was originally written for Sinatra..... .

  • OMG love it...Awesome!!!!!!!!

  • Franky doesn't need any lifetime achievement awards...they made awards because of people like him!!!

  • I love it. I'm subscribed. Great site. Thank you. A lot of wonderful memories. - orbstats

  • it´s a lot much better the original italian version

  • This hit by Ol' Blue Eyes was the 93rd #1 song on what is now Billboard's Adult Contemporary charts. It also hit #30 on the Top 40 charts. Last night, I watched the American Music Awards. If they had existed back then, I wonder it this hit would have been nominated. I hope that they give Frank their Lifetime Achievement Award sometime in the future.

  • OMG! What a rendition of this song! Awesome!!! Frank Sinatra you are so greatly missed...! When music was the true real art from the heart...! Kisses wherever you are in heaven..!

  • Classic!

  • HOURS OF LOVE I dont' have hours of love to not fall in love again. I have... only moments I speak only if I have to and I don't ask anyone to stay with me Is only you that I want only you Your place was here close to me I'm not able to look where you are not My eyes on yours and then...and then...
  • If you love this, check the original: Fred Bongusto - Ore d'ore. The original Italian lyrics are far better than the English.

  • This sensitive song is the best choice to represent your channel. It attracts attention and makes your visitors stay a little longer... ♫♪♫♪♫

  • man i love Sinatra

  • to: jesusmaful...unfortunately i can't read Italian or Spanish and only understood the word: Festival San Remo. My favorite song from that festival is Zingara by Boby Solo.

  • we must give credit also to the person who had arranged the tune. what a giant of a talent.

  • what an incredible tune. who wrote it for him?

  • I'm still trying to figure out how is possible for a person to not like/hate Frank Sinatra! He was beyond amazing, I love him and his voice.

  • REALLY thank u for ur youtube account .. I love Frank !

  • the song is incredible. it moves me over and over again every time i listen to it and i can't get enough of this tune. regretfully, the song has not been played on radio stations as often as some of his other songs.

  • This song is song of strength for those unlucky people who are now stuck in the so called "modern generation". God, I would give anything to be brought to those beautiful old days, where money and power wasn't priority, but just love. That was the true value in the Frank Sinatra generation, but those values have collapsed and have been converted to fake sex, teen age rebellion, racial segregation, racial ignorance, and most of all the coldness in people's heart. Frank is the road to true love.

  • .....one of the greatest songs he ever sung...and yet not that big a hit..

  • frank sinatra you will cherish forever

  • was is and will be the best singer that has existed in this world and his songs always be in our hearts again and again

  • Another masterpiece from the king!

  • Thanx Admin.

  • this song, sung by Sinatra gives me the chills!

  • Also, Bert Kaempfert.. Genius.

  • Pretty sure this is the greatest song ever made.. 1:27 - 1:41 ...... WHAT?!!?!?!? I mean, the whole song is just perfect from the intro to the outro, but that part gives me chills every time.

  • To everyone who knew the heartbreak of losing a love.the self dounbt the questions. where are the lyricists and arrangers this day?

  • Haven't heard this in a long time - forgot how awesome it was!

  • @InfoWarsTV2 I agree!!!

By the way, If you like this song, listen to Mireille Mathieu singing it in French. I can't speak French, but I love to hear Mireille singing this song. The French title is Un Monde avec toi.

  • This is wicked! Ole blue eyes had the patent on these songs

  • Oh my lord, this is amazing... New favourite Sinatra track.

  • @kiddyoung tell me your favurite sinatra's tracks.

  • @AliJalal93

  • The centerpiece of Frank's album "The World We Knew", and initially recorded as an instrumental by Bert Kaempfert on HIS Polydor/Decca album of the same name [Carl Sigman wrote the English lyrics]. I believe Claus Ogerman was the arranger/conductor here...

  • Absolutely magnificent!! Thank you my dear!!

  • I might be young, I might like metal, hip-hop, and electronica.. But god damn, this is still the best song I've ever heard! If only I could have been born a century sooner, when the world was a much simpler place.. surely I would be a much happier man! At the very least, this is the place The World We (Never) Knew takes me, every time I listen :)

  • @SavajCabbaj U said it my friend

  • @SavajCabbaj It's nice to know that I'm not the only young person who still thinks Frank Sinatra is AMAZING....You get a big thumbs up for that.

  • Imagine this arrangement as a James Bond song! ;-)

  • @lukasnummer1 Pretty Bad ass! :D

  • You need to post Sunrise in the Morning, and Then Suddenly Love!!!

  • Over and over I keep going over the world we knew

Once when you walked beside me

That inconceivable, that unbelievable world we knew

When we two were in love

And every bright neon sign turned into stars

And the sun and the moon seemed to be ours

Each road that we took turned into gold

But the dream was too much for you to hold

Now over and over I keep going over the world we knew

Days when you used to love me

  • @Orionoxy congrats you read the description :D

  • @Orionoxy

  • @Paolom86 блюз ! просто кайф!!!!

  • No doubt, Frank Sinatra was a heavy weight champion between crooners. This song is special, outstanding standard. Only mister Francis Albert Sinatra could sing it in a proper way and turn this song in to the gold, because of his voice

  • @Mrandrew7777 Agree,agree,agree...

  • @Mrandrew7777Agree, agree, agree...

  • Glad this song is back. It's one of Frank's greatest. Large. Rich. Robust. Romantic. Just like Frank.
