Hello! Have you tried - fast abs magic (do a search on google)? Ive heard some unbelivable things about it and my mate got ripped Six pack abs and lost a truck load of of weight with it.
Hey Brad, how about 20 hour fasts? If the purpose is for fat loss, I recall, if I'm correct, that you said in your book that the HGH level will have a dramatic raise after the point of around 18 hours of fasting. Thus, does it still have to be strictly 24 hours?
If it's ok, than by doing the math, leaving out dinner and eating a later breakfast the following day would have the same effect, wouldn't it? (from noon around 12 o'clock to 8 or 9am the next day.)
@wweibird In actuality you're body begins to burn significantly more fat after approximately the 18 hour mark. This effect begins to level off after 30 hours. If you don't quite make it to the 24-hour point some days don’t sweat it, you’re still getting a benefit. There is nothing wrong with cutting a fast short, say at 18-24 hours, or extending a fast to 27 or 28 hours if it fits into your schedule.
I just did my first 24hr fast two days ago. It wasn't easy the first time but hardly agonizing. The water part is mainly to dilute your hunger pangs.
I've done the diet and workout thing many times over the years. Always I'd get down to 210 lbs and stay stuck there for months until I'd get discouraged and give up. I was surprised when I woke up the next morning as when I was dieting I could only dream about eating. That didn't happen with the 24hr fast.
@Debgirl27@Debgirl27 you can expect to lose about 10-20 lbs in a month if done properly. You can make fat loss a marathon or a sprint. The less you eat once you break your fasts, the more fat you will lose. I think 5 months to lose 60 lbs is a very good and reasonable time frame. You can definitely do it.
I would like to know how about how much weight the average woman can expect to lose with this style of eating in a month? I have 60 pounds that I would like to lose in 5 months. I can't do another low carb diet or anything else. I am literally at my wits end.
so during these 24 hour fasts, are you allowed to drink water? multivitamins? medicine? gum? or is everything restricted??

Should a person exercise (cardio for example) during a fast or is that too hard to do? Would there be any extra benefit to this or is it unhealthy?
