  • If this is the right way to do it then my master is wrong and to call my master wrong means Yip Man was wrong too

  • @Dassyko hope you kept your receipt

  • @hgamer take your own advice man.

  • You should check out wingchunkalisystem!

  • dudes form is not good at all.

  • hi im really confuse i saw a guy do this before but he didnt start with fist at his side he did something he called til sao i think? i think he called it upllifting hand or something like that when he was doing it i couldnt figure out how he rotated his wrist does anyone know what im talkign about?

  • Wing Chun, or any martial art for all I care, is not about who do it "right" or "wrong" nor is it about who can kick who'se ass, it's about having fun doing something great people can enjoy! So metaphoricaly speaking, martial arts are like sex without the ticket if you're caught doing martial arts in public :P The way I learned Siu Lim Tao, the feets are a little bit more on the inside, but i don't say that this video is crap or nothing.

  • serious question time...after the outside pak you bring your hand right back like youre holding a tray before side palm..whats the application. i never seen.before as after outside pak i maintain.contact with.arm.to let off side palm at very end.

  • why is there a double punch? It look's as if the hand's are on top of each other. They can be easily trapped.

  • very nice movements. very good!

  • wow...... if you people are impressed by this real wing chun would blow you away. beware commercialization, if its not hard its wrong, if you finish your forms with ease its wrong, the movements arent anything without power and these movements arent even complete. this guys legs arent even being worked out. keep searching, theres better out their.

  • @shamanzahn please keep talking.. you just make yourself sound even dumber, if that's possible.....

  • @hgamer no hes absolutely right. Wing chun only looks simple. The stance totally changes it. 5 minutes of chi sao in the right stance and you'll feel like you've been sparring for 20

  • @hgamer That guy said, "if it's NOT hard it's wrong." I don't understand.. I thought WC was more of a "soft style"

I've not seen the double punch either, that looks really cool.... I like it.

  • @gilgamesh777amg I've never seen the double punch either. In my opinion, I wouldn't feel as safe with both hands in contact. I'd keep one hand in Wu Sao as a defense, just to be safe instead of both my hands punching (If that is the application) and no defense. But hey, that's just me.

  • @shamanzahn If you are embracing Wing Chun then you should at least have more respect.

  • @shamanzahn Good video, like me, I invite you to join my channel, greetings

  • @shamanzahn master wong > all. look for it, its awesome.

  • @shamanzahn WOW DUDE YOU ARE A RETARD YOU KNOW NOTHING OF WING CHUN. YOU PROBALY DIDNT KNOW THAT WING CHUN STRIKING ALSO HAS THE MOVEMENTS OF STRIKING PRESSURE POINTS AS SEEN IN DIM MAK. OH AND BY THE WAY MUST NOT HAVE KNOWN THAT THIS TYPE OF FORM IS FOCUSED ON QI OR KI OR YOUR AMERICAN FAG ASS SAYS CHI. AND THIS IS WHY YOU WILL NEVER BE AS GOOD AS ANY BEGINNER IN WING CHUN.

  • wow...... if you people are impressed by this real wing chun would blow you away.

beware commercialization, if its not hard its wrong, if you finish your forms with ease its wrong, the movements arent anything without power and these movements arent even complete. this guys legs arent even being worked out. keep searching, theres better out their.

  • My daughter studies under Si-Gung Birge (7th level Black Sash) and this is the way he has taught the students to perform the Siu Lum Tao as well. Your form is just as perfect and I have seen SO many other youtube videos of people performing the SLT and NONE of them get it right. They're form is so non-fluid, and I've seen some very sloppy stances.

    Thanks for posting this!

  • has anyone practiced Wing chun's secret two person form?

  • what is the point of these forms?

when do you ever use them in combat?

    thanks

  • @Acification95 lol.

  • The reason is, it ingrains these movements into your mind. Also (this may be a Japanese concept only) but when you do forms, you must have a mind set of KILL!!! Because martial arts is both soft and hard yin yang. You must be a kind and loving person, but when it comes to fighting, you have to be a killer. So when doing forms, the second you start, the mind is KILL, but the second you stop the form, you're kind and yourself. Teaches to turn on and off the KILL switch & build muscle memory.

  • @GuamKomudo The "Kill Switch" theory sounds really applicable and useful, thank you very much for sharing, it would probably explain why my sifu is so focused in Siu Lim Tao, his movements are not stiff, but I can see their power.

  • @Acification95 hahahaha

  • @Acification95 it's not about using in combat forms are about mental and physical training. but some of the moves are great in a street fight i have faught a few fights and i have used martial arts to win. people say it don't work but is does if you put hard work and dedication.

  • @TheKodiak2012 yeah sure blablabla.. wow I really hate guys like you.. always trying to impress people. get a life man and stop (pretending to) beat people up.

  • come on is this wing chun or wing tsun?

  • @Strifyi95 its wing chun, forms 1 and 2.

  • @darkonnis yeah but this is some modification just look how grandmaster william cheung do Shil lim tao form. william cheung is student of Yip Man and Yip man knew Tradicional wing chun.

  • hïhì_pâsst_hïer_nèt_rêíñ_äbâ_ich_bíñ_so_eîñsåm_wìll_jêmånd_mìt_miá_schrëíbeñ

  • Nice form. i've have not seen the double punch, But I know that you guys and your master is great. How does that double punch work in what cind situations? I would love to see a video on it. Thank you // Best regards. S. M.

  • @shiifu i go over it in my EP4 video on slt break down....

  • @hgamer nice siu lim tao helps me to remember all my siu lim tao my sifu tought me.

  • @dung159 thanks

  • i do traditional, but modified is still good

  • @SecretBlaziken101 so tell me what makes one traditional

  • @hgamer im not insulting you, i enoy this video, i just mean like the same way the ng mui taught yim wing chung the martial arts and the way she first used it, although it's not always true because wing chun is passed down orally

  • WAZAM!

  • very odd siu lim tao

  • @JourdansJohnson i know.. its like alien like

  • I have yet to see a video of a wing chunner win a fight. SHOW ME! You are all wimps.

  • @gorfjorf2112112 i've won fights easy using win chung, plus it's mainly for self defense, go fuck yourself anally, hater

  • @SecretBlaziken101 - You smell.

  • They forgot the martial part of martial art.

    How fucking useless.

  • @Njubish this is just to help the body, not for fighting, take the classes and you'll understand

  • @Njubish hahaha useless you say? the hand movements in Wing Chun are counter and strike. and im sure that it would top any type of "martial art" that you do. any form of kung fu requires skill. skill that you dont have :)

  • THis is good and all, but this my=ust be the modified version of Wing Chun. I myslef praticse Traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu. The form is different in the Traditional version, but the Traditional and Modified versions of them have the same kind of routine. Well done and keep practising! :)

  • Go check the original Yip Man siu lim Tao video... The little things like a the flick of hands makes that little different...

  • This must be the modified Wing Chun... Traditional way is different... And yes they do have a modified version...

  • @JannahWR Do you have a link to a video that you consider the traditional way? I am interested to see the differences. Thanks.

  • Interesting. This is basically exactly the same as my Siu lim tao. Must be same lineage.

  • @1111mo1111 corse, master, every siu lim tao must be the same -.-'

  • I've always wondered why the double punch is used can you please explain where its used or why it has become part of your Wing Chun ?.

  • It's wrong

  • Cool video. I see so many variants on the Wu form ( my last 10 years ) that I just look for movement at this point. What you did was nice and smooth, good job.

@hgamer, send the haters and critics to my Krav Maga class, I'll give them something to complain about.

  • Cool video. I see so many variants on the Wu form ( my last 10 years ) that I just look for movement at this point. What you did was nice and smooth, good job.

  • no ofence to him but the sil lim tao he does is very different to the one i do

  • This is ... not like what we learn in the traditional Wing Chun.... just "something like it"...

  • @Greathoof He may not be a practitioner of the Traditional system. Wing Chun has been slightly tweaked and modify to fit specific standards. Also what we all have to think about is no student will ever do the forms exactly as their master or others. Its why its an art, you create your own through the teachings of your master.

  • @Will200591K Yeah, I know.

Even our sifou says that even William Cheung (Grandmaster) has changed the technique over time (not whole things, just some angle, and small things).

So, yes, it's not exactly the same, but this is a whole different Siu Lim Tao.

(shortly)We start by lifiting our hands in the air, then pulling it back to our chest, then one leg to left, one leg to right.

This is a different Wing Chun.

  • @Greathoof It in fact maybe another form of SLT or it is the SLT and is just both our own misconceptions of his. Although for the sake of demonstrating he maybe just giving a generalized idea to showcase Wing Chun to others. If not being filmed to teach a class, why else would he be on TV? My starting SLT sounds like yours so I can take sides with you at this position. But for now all I can do is make a small assumption.

  • There are many type of Siu Lim Tao by different master. So dun be confuse by it when you are learning. So Stop watching youtube and get a Teacher.

  • looks very hard for a beginner cause this form includes many steps to learn... any tips for me?

  • It's strange he does it a lot different to what I know. As I read some of the comments, it seems his not doing the Yip Man, Traditional way?, that I am learning. Still very nice form! ^^ It's good to see what other variations really, but I prefer the approach that I've been taught! ^^

  • shut up raven dick. he is doing the form different from ip man and even the variations of his form which is fine to do but it is his idea of what wing chun should be. in my opinion wing chun shud b loose yet firm. he looks too rigid and tht does not go back to the teachings of wing chun to be like water in a fluid strong force. he may b sharing knowledge bt is counter productive to real training and is teaching people the unoriginal version of it. he kan do wht he wants bt to teack that!

  • hgamer, thank you so much for your video´s.

And to all you haters, please relax! The guy is just trying to help and share his knowledge, since when did that become a crime?

And even if you think that this is "the wrong form" or whatever, then at least show some respect and try to act in a civilized manner - no need to raise war.

  • @ravendarkfield i love the haters... it just makes for good entertainment

  • @ravendarkfield People who hate Wing chun are generally people who prefer the flashy type of martial art, rather than the functional.

  • hey its ed, right? my name is johnny and im a student of lee keener in port hueneme. its nice to see someone from master fongs lineage on youtube! keep it up and ignore the haters!

  • @v33punk the haters is what makes it entertaining :)

  • There's not that much power in your form.

  • @Zellieth maybe i should break some wood in the end and yell, hiiiyyyaaaaa

  • @hgamer I take it back I watched it again. it looks good.

  • @hgamer I just watched the full vid. Actually it looks good. I only watched the first 30 seconds of it last time before I lost interest.

  • @Zellieth

since when is wing chun about power and how can u see that in a video how much power he uses ?

  • Comment removed

  • @Funky1156 wing chun's creation requires power, the story is that wing chun (female) created wing chun in order to defeat a chinese warlord in a duel to avoid wedding him. A small asian woman needs power to win fights. I can see power in his form because his muscles are all tensed along his forearms, but all of his movements are crisp and smooth. If you listen to the commentary there is a smoothness and relaxation mixed with power.

  • @Zellieth Your knowledge is correct and incorrect although I do congratulate your observation. He is doing the form right ye wrong. It supposed to be slow to uild the right energy but for the sake of demonstration he didn't. Wing Chun is power concealed within softness and vice versa softness concealed in power, but Wing Chun at it's highest point of mastery is essentially you share your opponents power. Making him lend his power to you and turning the tables of his own actions against himself.

  • That is a wrong form of siu lim tao and are you sure you are a wing chun boxer? You dont perform self discipline and being humble. You held vulgars at people from what i see in your comments.

  • @jaykingisme post a video of your slt so we can see what right is....

  • @hgamer sure,no offence but seriously some of your form is wrong your leg is not even sinking and rising

  • @hgamer ya i will

  • @jaykingisme how can you say this is a wrong form of siu lim tao when there are so many different... people read up on stuff watch other videos and make sure you are right before telling someone they are wrong... i have been researching wing chun for only a week and am pissed off with everyone tellin everyone its a wrong form like wtf....TROLLS

Loy Lau Hoi Sung, Lut Sau Jik Chung

  • @TheLodm lol you learned 1 week and you talk so much,i not saying its fully wrong,so yeah dont interfere,me and this guy is alr ok.

  • @jaykingisme Are you referring to the video or a comment? There is only one form of Siu Lim Tao but they all have minor difference passed down from different teachers and their own personal experiences. There is no wrong or right - unless your saying you learnt the TRUE traditonal wing chun form which most teachers claim to teach..

  • this isnt the first form its modified a bit at 1:10 and contiued all the way up to about 1:14 yes i kno its only 4 seconds but 4 seconds can cause life or death in a fight =/

  • @Mrcraziboi1 gay

  • @hgamer who r u who r u who r u who r u who r u

    (Family Guy lol)

  • @Mrcraziboi1 someone who knows his shit

  • @hgamer sorry but i just look at ur channel and the chinese guy in the back for the first video hasnt got his hands or arms in the right place neither he arms or legs are in the correct place get it right and perfected before postin it on to utube because if u have ur arms and hands there in a fight and i come in with a left or right hook (boxing) u have nothin to defend urself get it right and dont call me gay either wen u cant do 1 of the most simpliest forms

  • @Mrcraziboi1 gay.....and your a dork for thinking this is the most simplest of forms

  • @hgamer brv im sorry but have u ever heard of JAMES SINCLAIR (google if u havent) he taught my dad whos a SIFU and hes teaching me and the way that ur doin it is WRONG alright im not usin this as an excuse to tell u how to do it u might have learnt it another way but, im preety sure that this wing chun KUNG FU style (not Gung fu as uve put it on ur page) is wrong in my opinion

  • @Mrcraziboi1 omg not the sinclair... uhhh, who...did you ever think in your little pea brain, that you could be doing it wrong.... .... in my opinion....

  • @hgamer UMM THATS FUKIN Y I SAID U MIGHT HAVE LEARNT IT A DIFFERENT WAY THEN ME U DICKHEAD

  • @Mrcraziboi1 ooh and also soz to add its not THE SINCLAIR its JAMES SINCLAIR u dipshit its not a thing its a person

  • @Mrcraziboi1 its okay.. please don't cry pussy.

  • @hgamer fuk off mate go and make a proper utube channel for wing chun not one u made for u pathetic games hgamer WTF is that u dick head go and suk on ur mums dick

  • @Mrcraziboi1 dude.. i totally totally apologize.. i didn't know it was that time of month for you..... here's a tampon... you douche :)

  • @hgamer do u kno wht i dont have time to fukin discuse with a fukin american on whos right tbh i dont give a shit robertvoice please help me put this DICKHEAD in place cause he thinks he knows everythin and he does it mostly wrong add me robert

  • @Mrcraziboi1 don't have time, this is your 8th fricking post...... you can't do math either

  • Anyone who's watching this video and hoping to get a free lesson it does not matter how good you think you are. (that includes me XP) The actual TRADITIONAL wing chun in China will always kick any abridged wing chun's ass. (no pun intended being as how wing chun is not focused on kicks XD)

  • Well... starting for the stand... and the rest too... poor version of Wing Chun

  • @robertvoice Sure thing numb nuts.....let's see u do one form, so we can all laugh

  • @hgamer Let your Ego aside for a moment, and accept critics to enhance yourself, man. Empty your Cup. I wonder, Why do you practice Chinese Martial Arts when you don't have the philosophy as base? Don't believe you know everything... when so many peoples tells your errors is time to make a self-analysis. Don't you think?

PS: I practice Shaolin and I can do a form 20x better than you!

  • @robertvoice Critcs matter if they actually new shit....which u don't...and shove that empty cup up your ass....and great. u practice shaloin... A style that couldn't fight it's way out of a box.......post your 20x better form...Rofl

  • @hgamer Ok, Dude! You are the kind of donkey that learn by pain... SO BE IT! ;-)

"Use as limitation the no-limitation" -B. Lee

  • @robertvoice Forms don't make a person a martial artist, a strong mind does. and by insulting someone who is taking the time to help people learn is demonstrating the poorest kind of kung fu and quality of being. lets all enjoy life and build each other up instead.

  • Modified wing chun is so weak. My friend trained traditional wing chun for ONE MONTH and he beat up a modified guy who had been training for 7 YEARS! I have no training and I think I can beat up this guy in this video.

  • @gorfjorf2112 Nothing funnier then some tard who thinks he's doing traditional

  • JEEEVOOOO!

  • DEJA DE ROBAR GORDO ! q vuelvan las artes marciales de antes ,,, ipman (L)

  • i honestly wish that today fightswere likke those in the past so one will really have to master his style to survive.....not when some wanna be ganstas act tough only because of a gun,,dqts jus sad......get the gun out of there hand an there cat food....

  • hmmbin total ungezogen heute wer will mit mir camn der kann sich ja melden

  • his pak sau is to shallow it would not block a good punch.

  • @biggyd83 so what your saying is that your stupid enough to block beyond your triangle... okay...

  • @hgamer dont call me stupid i was just making a comment,i have been trained differenty to this hence the comment,i think this is a very poor example.

  • @biggyd83 i was just making a comment also

  • Comment removed

  • Totally missing the two "back pushes" after the 2rd part. It's like nothing (no purpose) here.

what the freakin hell is that "Doubble Fist" - thing?

    Different brachen of WC/VT

  • @Zazquatch1 my god.. you are so... WRONG... :)

  • @Zazquatch1 actually, i rather not, and let you do it your way

  • i do wing chun and that aint first form just a lil bit of it buut uts diffrent for me

  • pretty similar to the one I'm learning (and I don't live in US)

  • always thought martial arts have something to do with respect, and its astonishing how less you find of that on youtube. Respecting other people doesnt hurt. And seeing or learing from different people gives you different views which you need in practice. My opinion. Thx anyway, at the moment I started with Wing Chun and I guess this vid could help me to get the first form faster.

  • yo amo el wc pero vos sos un gordo puto

  • @tutanota Tu la cosa me cago en el baño

  • i think you talk best on that stupid food show you were on..stick to reviewing resturants and stay away from kung fu..from the looks of you you eat way more than you train anyway..

  • @vt308 at least i don't punch like a girl... or even worst a pussy like you

  • This is isnt very good unfortunately. Quite a few details are not being follow, showing that some of the movements and the principals behind them arnt properly understood.

Cant really be bothered writing them all, but here is an example:

In the first section, the wu sau and fook sau should not be the same height. (The elbow position remains the same). From the Wu Sau, the fook sau should drop down a little. This is because fook is applied as a controlling technique from above the attack.

  • thanks for explaining nothing, just proves how little you know... please comment more...

  • @hgamer : I think you will find I did explain something?

  • sure you did

  • @ozzie1246 Fook Sau, after when u get better uses the tsi sau method to control.. moving fingers down becomes impractical in fast fights. However during training it drops down a little to pull the neccessary muscles that u are training

  • you are absolutely right. during the first section the wrist bends inwards (creating the L shape) so that the correct tendons are engaged.

You are also correct that as you improve, it is less necessary for you to use the solid L shape in application (because your sensitivity and reactions become better).

However it is important that you understand HOW fook sau is used. There should be a slight downward motion to ensure that you have elbow and wrist position over an aggressor!

  • He isn't doing it very good if you look at the details.

  • Well how the form is done differs from school to school, but in my school, the wu sao is slightly pointing towards your own chin.

also, his elbow is too much outwards, but that may be because of the nature of his body.

  • @lordtains i thought we are talking about the most traditional wing chun ... the one made from yuen wing chun,.. ?

  • does he claim to know the most traditional wing chun style?

  • this pinoy is an insult to his sifu.

I think he was in to raping chickens whilst practising the martial art called "kali" practised in the philipines. LOL

  • very bad sifu

  • this is only an instructional video all his movements were to show it done

  • he did the 2nd section wrong

  • his not in his stance properly ive did this the 1st and 2nd form

  • are you that stupid to post about something you know nothing about

  • actually i fdo kung fu and i am green

  • poor demo, no effort, the strikes are plain lazy, giving no conditioning whatever.

  • what is the application of the fuk sau. Of all the shapes in WC that one is most mysterious. Doesn't the kinked wrist weaken the hand structure ?

  • i thought the same today.

    but i think its not a punch-move..

maybe someone could explain that to us

  • I thought about this one long and hard. Hold the Fuk Sau and then place an open palm below (with empty space not directly on top) and what does that look like? Grabbing a leg/foot right? So far this is the only app that I can find but it's pretty useful.

  • controls the centre line - place the fuk sau over your other arm like a bridge and see how easy it is to control it's movements

  • It's supposed to be a strike with the bony portion of where wrist meets hand. It's actually a thick mass of bone, hit yourself with it it hrts. This is my understanding as an early student of Wing Tsun anyway. And it is Wing Tsun, Not Wing Chun

  • Atually Wing Chun and Wing Tsun are both correct. Wing Tsun is a branch of Wing Chun. Here he is perfoming Wing Chun though.

  • you are perfectly right.

  • Comment removed

  • I know this form but I can't perform nearlyas well as he did.

  • I find the Fong system to be the most dynamic, thorough, and flowing system that I have experienced so far. I too will continue to have an opened mind to new ideas and practical use of techniques, theory and application.

  • The Fong, Ho Kam Ming lineage is unique to wing chun. This linage is the fighting lineage, these are the guys that actually fought, they weren't a bunch of dorks who just practiced and never applied it. Many of the things that are in Fongs system have been tested and adapted to actual professional fights, not chi sao or what if scenario . Whatever the reasons for his modification, who is anybody on this forum qualified to challenge Fongs expertise.

  • in the fong systemthey dont do chi sao? if not then they ruined the whole meaning of wing chun and by the way chi sao, you obveously dont get it im not going into it i cant be asked look it up for yourself what is actually does..

  • I chi sao every day, Fong is a master at it, your information is like your grammer really bad! There are a few videos on Youtube of Fong rolling hands, you should watch him.

  • "not chi sao or what if scenario." you obveously don't understand the conecpts of the chi sao system, and have obveously not actually been to another class ( thats not under fongs lineage. ) because we do apply it to fight situations.

  • Chi Sao isn't a system, its only a part of wing chun, an important part but not a system onto itself. You should try learning to speak and write English more proficiently so you can understand what you are saying, because you appear to be very confused from what you have written. I believe that focusing on only one aspect of Wing Chun is not Wing Chun, I believe one must practice and apply all of it.

  • @saldathief myfriend i learn from the fong lineage we do chi sao

  • Comment removed

  • i do what i want to do..... so nyaaah

  • Your SLT looks good. I'm learning Fong's Wing Chun too. When did you start with it?

  • ok why add the double punch??? what the purpose of it??? i mean to me it really doesnt do nothing lol

  • if you say so...

  • ok, if it does something what does it do then lol

  • if it didnt do anything i doubt they would put it in there. I believe yip man was all about simplifying, and said that if one day the three forms could be put into one it would be even better. no one did it i think though

  • slt contains all the hand motions you will ever use in wing chun. most hand motions go back and forth, but there are hand motions that go out at the same time like pak da ( slap, punch). the double punch is there to remind us that sometimes both hands travel away from the body on the centerline at the same time. Ive had exposure to 5 or so forms of wing chun, all taught differently. take what you want and leave the rest.

  • really, right? all these people wanna fight over lineages. if its good wing chun its good wing chun. its all about how you train and how your sifu teaches.

  • Only in a modern, safe, and well off society can people waste so much time bickering about style, lineage, and other nonsense. In the past when people actually had to use their martial arts to survive, the only thing that mattered was whether or not it was effective. Unfortunately, with so many mcdojos around, bickering is the only kind of fighting these guys are any good at.

  • Brother...I think the same way you do! Society these days is so simple for people! I hate it when any tradittional martial art is criticized because the fact that things are passed down from one warrior to the next through thousands of years seems have no importance to anyone not even bruce lee who by the way jeet kune do is Wing chun...Marketed and packaged so that it can be sold in the grocery store at eye level.
