  • so is it better to use the ball tool that you have or the wilton one??

i dont like the wilton one because the gum paste sometimes tends to stick.

  • Hi,

You said something about the fondant being less elastic than gumpaste, is it possible to mix gumpaste and fondant? I just hate the taste of gumpaste and I do make my own MM fondant. I love your videos!

  • @emibeery You can mix it yes. But for flowers is best to have it all the way gumpaste. You can actually save the flowers and reuse them. I rarely see people eating the flowers.

    Edna :)

  • Hi Edna i love your masterpieces...i have a question : fondant flowers are similar with gumpaste flower?? Because in Greece i dont know were to find Tylose powder and Crisco...

  • Maybe they have something else they use for gumpaste. Fondant is less elastic than gumpaste. Is not exaclty the same.

    Edna :)

    Edna :)

  • is gumpaste and fondant thesame?

  • No, is not the same. Gumpaste has more elasticity than fondant so it's better for delicate things.

    Edna :)

  • thank you very much!!

  • thank you so much for your videos ! they're are incredibly informative !

i just have a couple of questions, if you don't mind?

what is the type of tool off to the side, the one that you are keeping your circles in?

is it just foam with plastic on top?

if it's not, where can i get that?

  • Is just a cake board....they sell those in the Wilton section. They are mostly used for the Wilton Classes, but they are great for covering gumpaste.

    Edna :)
