@pianogirl98 -- Thanks for coming back LInda! -- yes, Tak has a wonderful voice and it's always a treat to play for her, her voice, I find, always puts back the things city life takes out :) As you know, she sings and improvises well in a wide variety of styles and is currently leaning towards jazz and giving a concert with a jazz band in a few weeks which we're looking forward to.

i wish i knew the history of this piece,,, something simple from bach's clavier works, then some lyrics by someone else years later singing the implied harmony....

could there be a more touching moment than this performance...

a celebration of the joy we so often overlook in life... for good reason too...

but there is joy and love...

@PaulBartonPiano It's very dramatic, and russian might be a bit harder to sing but I think Tak could definitely do it. I would assume you are trying to give a concert containing music from many different time periods, so I would suggest Nulla in Mundo Pax Sincera by Vivaldi. It's a beautiful song for soprano. Also, the extremely famous Serenade by Schubert would go great at a concert. Hope I helped!
