@NeWayz1983 You can flat iron it, but u may be risking gettin heat damage. If u really want to jus make sure u do a protein treatment first, and apply a heat protectant before u add heat. Good luck girl

OMG girl I am going through this rt now. I was natural for over a year but kept it in protective styles. My hair is really thick... I decided to perm and them my hair started to shed and got really brittle. My hair is very long now but I miss the natural and don't like perming it anymore. So I am strong considering starting over. I really love your hair. The TWA suited you so well. I did my bc on July 17, 2010 but I had to cut my hair down to 2 inches because it was so damaged. I tried to wear the TWA but the young lady that cut my hair cut one side too short and I could not take it so I got braids. I have been wearing them since August, but I think after I come out of them this time (November or sooner) I will just wear my hair and perhaps a wig when I go out on special occasions. Freedom at last. Nothing like it.

@myroxi2010 i knew i wanted long healthy natural hair, and i had to start sumwhere. big chopping was for me bc i wanted to experience all levels of going natural from VERY short, so extremely long in the future :). dnt care about wat other people think. confidence carries any hair style. u wont look like a boy if the rest of your appearance is feminine. hope this helps! good luck!
