One of three BOC "anthem" type songs: Last Days of May, Astronomy, and Veteran of the Psychic Wars. Long songs, blazing guitar riffs...all good stuff. I've seen them seven times, from '75 to '08, and they always seem to please. Amazing to think Eric Bloom is now 64 years old...and still rockin'...
I went to at least three Cult shows in 1974-76. Aragon Ballroom for sure, a hall in Arlington Heights and I think at Uptown or some other place around Chicago.
The two original guitar player/singers did great..he other band members were fill-ins. But they sounded good. I was sitting on the grass in the hill area by the tent. They put out a real nice sound and it was a nice evening for having BOC in Newburgh

I love any and all versions of this song. This one's solo by Buck is so fast in spots that even my fingers are burning.

Great recording especially of the audio in this video. It's sounds really clear and Buck just is too damn amazing in this one.

I'm one of the organizers for the Newburgh Festival. Glad you enjoyed the show! We're working on bringing in more shows like this in 2008!

Saw them 3 times in the late 70s early 80s and they were awesome. This song brings back some incredible memories. Thanks to whoever posted this.
