There's nothing sad about this, unless you can't deal with the fact that he's very fluid with his gender identity. He seems to have given up the makeup for their current album/tour. Now that is sad to those of us who really liked his look from AOD, STS and DU.

Selling out is when you change your sound for making money. Davey (and AFI) put their heart and souls into their music. They didn't sell out, they bought in. Oh, and not only is Punk Rock a genre, but a sub-culture and a mindset.
