Auto trans takes away from the driving experience ans requires much less driver skill due to the fact that you don't have to know when to shift through corners and downshift prior to cornering. I'm pretty sure the pure driving experience requires a shifter and clutch. Go drive an automatic convertible sally

@adogg619 Manuals offer more control but when you deal in that much power for a street car a auto or paddle shift transmission will offer the consistency to drive it better.
If it were purely a road course race car I would say go manual but having driven a 750rwhp Mustang and a 800rwhp C6 Coupe I would definitely rather have the auto on the street. There is just a lower chance of the car getting away from you.

Problem is, that 900hp motor won't last more than 4 runs, isn't driven on the street because it won't last 2 miles, and is completely useless without slicks, and even then still is pointless. So even if you could get it to last long enough to run it would get raped. Pointless comment.
With a pro stock BBC engine we are making 1500+ hp with an N/A 496 cu. in. engine. That is 185hp per liter NATURALLY ASPIRATED. Show me a 1.8 honda that is N/A that is making 333hp. Its not gonna happen...that is 282hp to the wheels. Good luck

with race gas, the vette can make 900 on 93 octane, so go on a long cruise and your out in the middle of nowhere getting regular pump gas and you come across the vette in marco's supra and you will blow head gaskets if not more
The Stock 7000 rpm limit. However, I can go to 7200 if I need to top out 3rd in the 1/4 mile.. However don't see that happening anytime soon. that would be about 170mph lol
an auto is fine, it depends on the guy behind the wheel, however, why a 4l65e? :)I have blown through a bunch of those until I wised up and went with an 80e.
I plan on switching over to a 4L80 this winter. There is just a lot more envolved with making the 4L80 work, and I didn't want to let this season go by.

I bought it from some one who shiped it over from japan, and is street legal its registered as a skyline not a kit car. Oh, and a z06 isnt faster then an r34 gtr and theyre not even in the same class.

haha oh really? you might wanna double check that one..and where are you? cause last time I checked..they're illegal on the streets of north america..since when is a C6 Z06 not faster than an R34 in ANY way? go watch more fast and furious..they're good but not THAT good..you should put up a video of yourself with your skyline..you cannot register an R34 in north america..maybe an R32..

nah u can loop hole it bro like break a couple parts and declare it wrecked and it can then be bought and registered as a salvage..but they break enough on it to be called wrecked but only a few parts idk exactly how its done

really? cause i know as soon as it has all the components of an R34 then it is considered an R34 by law..there are loopholes..the kitcar one beng the obvious one though..which are the ones all being seized..sucks to be those guys..but if it's registered as a salvage wouldn't it still be anr34 and therefor open for seizure?

nah it roasts it in a trap speed for a quartermile..in a straight line a reg C6 will out do an R34..on a track it'll be close..but not on a Z06 though haha

wait let me make sure i understand you right before i call you out for being wrong..your saying a reg c6 will beat it in trapspeed and the 1/4...but on a track itll be close?...but the z06 wont do a thing?..if i was right on any of that just so you know the z06 is a better make of the c6 so its gonna do everything the c6 does and better..and a stock r34 isnt that good the z06 0-60 is better then the r34 and overall a stock skyline isnt actually all that great for the price

nono..I am saying a base C6 will out do a R34 in trapspeed and it will edge it out on a circuit..a Z06 would DEMOLISH an R34 in any type of racing..and trapspeeds and quartermile they Z06 is significantly faster..when I say track for the C6 i mean twistie.and trapspeed i am referring to 1/4 trapspeed

Props to the idiots. You can always tell street-vehicle modders when they sit on top of a rear-mounted transmission with no blanket or scatter-shield. People who actually know the business would know better than to risk losing their nut sack, i've seen transmission with "REAL" power behind them go straight through the floorboards.

dude i got nothing against supras and 1500hp on a supra is great, but this corvette here isnt the most built one in fact its not even strked ETC- but what im saying is with full mods and fully tuned an LS7 vette can hit 2000HP if it wants. just saying cause ive seen it happen.

with race gas, the vette can make 900 on 93 octane, so go on a long cruise and your out in the middle of nowhere getting regular pump gas and you come across the vette in marco's supra and you will blow head gaskets if not more

The Stock 7000 rpm limit. However, I can go to 7200 if I need to top out 3rd in the 1/4 mile.. However don't see that happening anytime soon. that would be about 170mph lol

an auto is fine, it depends on the guy behind the wheel, however, why a 4l65e? :)I have blown through a bunch of those until I wised up and went with an 80e.
