You are nothing without me".. which technically insinuates that yes, Maiev was indeed the one who struck the final blow that killed him in her attempt to unleash her vengeance and justify him for his "crimes". Anyway. That comment was months ago and technically I can't be bothered anymore...

@robloxguy23 Yeah haha. Blizzard confirmed that Illidan was not meant to die at the end of The Frozen Thone, he was injured, but not mortally wounded. Blizzard wanted to make their fight into a cinematic, where Illidan would get wounded and then survive to watch Arthas become the Lich King, but ran out of time and money and had to do it in-game. If you look, Illidan is moving after being wounded by Frostmoune. Unfortunately, many players interpreted it as if Illidan died. :P

Illidan Stormrage is night elf/demon hybrid...he was NE untill his bro sent him to prison for 20k years...and when he returned he consumed power of skull of gul`dan and then he methamorphosed. They tought he betrayed them so he joined kil`jaiden and tryed to kill arthas and take control over frozen throne...bot he failed and he was forced to leave azeroth for ever. In my opinion Illidan is the best char in Warcraft.
