Shanes heritage and family was irish,it does'nt matter where he was born,if his family was from texas but he was born in new york he would still be a texan,and trust me ireland and england are alot closer than new york and texas...it is where you family is that instills your traditions and values,not the nieghbors..

friends of mine went to the wexford inn back in the early 90s without tickets but money to buy them , they bumped into ronnie outside and asked him any chance for tickets and gave him money to cover them all , he called them in back about 10 minutes later and passed them into the seating area , gave them back their money and said " HAVE A GOOD NIGHT LADS " " I LOVE WHEN THE YOUNG ONES LOVE US "
