'04 election day was rediculous.....

I entered the polling place (a grade school) and went to get my ballot - I brought out my ID in case I needed to show it, but when a worker saw me do this she said "You don't need ID". politely asked, "Really, then how do you know I am who I say I am?" - She delightfully replied "The ballots are compared against you're signature on record, if it doesn't match the vote is discounted...."

Signature analysis is unquanitifable bullshit.

It is an outrageously innaccurate form of identification. The ability to reproduce a signature is within the boundry of acceptable change between multiple signatures. Likewise, inevitably, some people will have two instances of their signature outside the boundry of acceptable change.
