I love the idea of acoustic renditions, the main melody would f..kin rocks, but I believe that the songs need to be rearranged a little and not just played as you would on electric.

i don't know... i just started to play some tunes on my ovation rather than plugging in my jackson and playing it that way. It just seems more real when playing acoustic.

I wouldn't necceserely say it's more real, some of the bands you covered defined a whole sound and popularised it to such an extent that they are still as successful today (probably even more). I would say it's more of a personal out look of the style and incorparating it with your own sound. which i have to say is really good.

I appriciate the comments man, really do. I just feel that when i'm playing songs on an acoustic guitar instead of one of my electrics, it just feels like it is just down to the basics, no distortion to hide or to improve anything, it's just me and the guitar.

no problem. afterall its one musician to another. but yeah you are right there, playing with distortion can make it alot easier doing pull offs and hammer ons, you have utilized a very good sound though. got any more covers on the way, or perhaps one of your own?
