@c0m4g1bb Oh, Jim wasn't so bad. He was deeply disturbed because he had a troubled childhood. He was a navy brat, his father was an admiral! He talked a lot of shit and drank far too much, but he was good at heart. Poor man, he accidentally killed himself, because he was very unhappy and insecure. Alot of his outrageous behavior was empty posturing and showing off. I love this song and all their songs. God bless you too.

There is confusion with the remastering of this track. This has been one of my favorite Doors songs since I first heard the "Waiting For The Sun" album in 1989. This here is how it should sound, with Jim's awesome sounding double tracked lead vocal. I just got the out of print long-box version of "The Complete Studio Recordings" and I was blown away to hear a DIFFERENT VOCAL TRACK ON THIS SONG! A LOUSY one at that. Jim sounds like he's giving the band a "guide vocal." Can anyone clear this up?
